Stunning bike regardless and for the money it's a huge WOW and a wonderful way into a quality ride that has all a rider could ever desire if they want the modern toys and frills - seriously you could ride this bike forever and be happy. In answer though, it's a hard NO, BMW buyers won't transfer to Voge in a million years - both BM and Voge know this, they have a great symbiotic relationship and it's refreshing to see the bike world changing in front of our eyes
Kate. Good honest review as usual. Seems like a cracking bike for the money. Makes a Bee em look a bit sick for all the money they cost. By the way you are far from incompetent in any shape or form. A great motorcyclist who presents some super vlogs. Keep at it coz thousands of us are pleased you do.
Really appreciate the seat height/parking demonstration Kate! Would love to see that in yours and other's reviews. Constantly use your videos as a reference (we're about the same height), and usually fast scroll to if you've included the mounting/stopping in traffic part. Still a newbie myself, so the seat height still matters some. Hope it'll be something you'll include in future videos, hope more reviewers catch on. Wish you all the best, ride safe!
I'm not an adventure bike kind of bloke but this one is spectacular value. Triumph and BMW' are very pricey and for those of us who don't want to take out a second mortgage to buy a bike will find this much more palatable. Those 20 zones really are an affront to your senses.
Great review Kate, I had the 500DSX and got shut of it after a year as the seat was dire. A few observations; if it comes with full boxes (like the 500 did), then it needs a 20L tank to give it a a 200+ range, I recall the TPMS and external temp gauge were pretty inaccurate on the 500 and the paint finish on the crash bars wasn't great - not sure if that's the same on the 900? The switches don't look as good as the Brand Leaders and the front brake master cylinder looks like they took it off a moped. The TFT would benefit from being bigger and really extend the warranty for at least 3yrs. The resale prices of Voge's is not great and insurance is higher than other models (my 500 cost more than my 1800 Suzuki). Overall they are good bikes, certainly for the money, but need to refine the offering somewhat. Finally a GS beater? - price yes but refinement - hmmm.
Hi Kate, Excellent review as always thanks. I wonder whether the surging issue at low speed sorts itself out with the latest ECU mod. Any idea what update it had on it? Anyway, I've booked a test ride next week at Bob Minion, Derby. We'll see how it goes. Thanks again, Lee
Took delivery of mine on Monday been out twice very impressed with the ride. Throttle is snappy at low speed but manageable. Very heavy to move about but will get used to it. Still haven't worked out how to use the App and find a manual but will get there. Buy one if your in the market.

I really like this, if I didn’t already have the BMW f850 gs id be looking to get one.
Thanks, even if I don't like Chinese bikes, without any particular reason...it is just me 😊. I must give credit to this machine. If Chinese are now this good I'm wondering how it is going to be in a few years from now. Regards from Serbia 🇷🇸
Thanks for the comprehensive review,, I'm interested at this bike just i want to ask you is it smooth operating how is the vibration at the handle bar and it's stability at the high speed?,, thanks.
After 1 hour 20 of *ahem* motorway speeds, when I pulled up, I did feel a slight tingle in my hands, but not as bad as some where I will tap the tank with my fingers after a ride and it feels like I have springs in my finger tips! It wore off pretty instantly. The country lane stuff, my hands didn't tingle afterwards. High speed stability is very good, no issues with that.
Hi Kate, great review of both a good looking bike with spec and price to have many thinking..... HHmmmm 15-20+K for top brands ?... .This is a bit off base, but can I ask what mic you use as your audio is crystal clear... I get part of that is you have a projective voice.... Thanks for sharing your take on this new push for China....👍🥃
I was going to take a look ,looked at least a dozen videos been good overall, and the comments pretty good, Have to agree what it's offering is brilliant, however one individual had the swing arm lose another fueling issues took it back had it remapped at the dealer new upgrade free of charge and its doing the same thing again snatchy throttle, , hopefully that been solved with the upgrade, I'd buy a Triumph but even they have had a few issues, I have looked at the BMW 850 and that has had few problems so how reliable is this going to be long term if the engine is the same. Nice too see your review on this bike 😊
Awesome video! Great review. You hit all the points of interest. I don't get it though. From BMW's perspective as far as a relationship in production and competition. It looks like a GS, tank angle and geometry. At what ? Almost half the price and all the features. I suppose the only thing you are giving up with the Voge is cool factor. I would definitely be interested in this bike. Beautiful bike for sure. Best!
Hi Kate. Firstly Great video and welcome to my part of the world. You mention the surging at low speed. Do you think it was because you were in sport mode? And did you try it at low speed in any other mode? Cheers
Hi Kate, great review! Giving TMF a run for his money that’s for sure! 😊 Can you confirm the payload in kg on this bike please? I’ll be booking a test ride in the near future based on your review 👍
Fantastic spec. , and you can't argue with the price. Sorry, but I'll be sticking with Japanese reliability. It's too early for Chinese manufacturers to challenge the Japanese yet in this respect.
Chinese bikes have come on leaps and bounds these last few years and this one looks like a quality machine but i have reservations about the hi-tech electrical components and I'm not a fan of keyless ignition. If it goes wrong in a few years it will be a nightmare and doesn't have the dealership support of an equivalent Japanese or German bike. Nevertheless it looks fantastic and thanks for another comprehensive video, Kate.
BMW have been making keyless forever and are pretty much the most experienced out there i think, we have never had an issue in any of our cars using it - same system being used here i expect, i like keys but i would not worry about this one bit
Yup... There's a reason why Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki are BY FAR the most reliable and there's a reason why Tenere is the most popular adventure bike for 6 years straight now. No bullsh*t tech means there's nothing to break down, meaning you can ride the bike 24/7 for a year straight and nothing will break down or wear down and you will have to do absolutely nothing besides change oil, filters and tires. There's a reason why Yamaha has only 11% failure rate and BMW, Ducati, KTM, Triumph and other well over 40% (Yes, over 40%, that's not a typo and those are official statistics!) The last thing I want when on a month long trip, is to have my bike break down or have something fail and have to constantly be under stress and worry about whether or not my bike will blow up in the middle of nowhere...
@nogerboher5266 Spot on. Bikes with too many electronics are a recipe for disaster and German bikes seem to suffer from electrical gremlins after a few years. Keeping it simple with the minimum of rider aids is my philosophy. The Chinese bike that Kate reviewed would give me the Heebie-jeebies.
My only real concern with Chinese bikes these days is rust resistance - I like to ride in all weathers, and also like my bikes to continue to look nice after a few years. Can't knock the value for money, though.
I’ve got no doubt that this will be a brilliant bike when it works but my concern from other Chinese brands is failure rate and parts availability. No use having a cheap bike if you end up with it in the dealer every 5 minutes for weeks at a time. Fingers crossed they’re getting it right. The major manufacturers could do with a kick in the backside. Their cheap motorbikes aren’t so cheap anymore. I guessed £9500. Wasn’t far off! A Transalp might be Honda’s competitor?
Wish these Chinese bikes came out atleast a couple of years sooner, would be such a easier choice if the world's tensions weren't what they are right now. Voge is sadly nowhere to be seen where I live sadly, they seem like great bikes.
Is not only BMW that should be scared, if the car market serves as an example, is going to be a massacre. And it was the exorbitant prices of mainstream manufactures that resulted in this, they have completely open the door for the Chinese brands. In the end competition is always good for consumers.
Sorry, but I just need to point out that running the grips and the seat on the hottest settings would be masochism, not sadism. Sadism would be if your other half was on the back and you were doing it to hurt them. Otherwise the bike looks really good. Sadly the snow has started to fly here and I'm still procrastinating on moving my bike into the garage for another winter.
@@UsernameKate I understand that. I must apologize for my unrelenting pedantry. But liking pain is Masochism. Sadism is taking joy in inflicting pain on others. I'm from Alberta in Canada, so we're entering our deep freeze hibernation/wish we lived somewhere warmer part of the year. The wishing we lived somewhere with better roads like those you were riding on, is something we feel year round.
You have a great voice. I'd like to make one point. Chinese quality and reliability are evidenced by the fact that most of the consumer electronics on sale by Western brands are made in China. Think of Apple, the archetypal rip off company...designed in California (on Chinese made computers) manufactured in China. Look at DJI as a top Chinese company, no one can match it, so the USA ban it. Huawei was the same. Don't believe the BS that they are a security threat. Every single device capable of receiving or sending data of any sort is examined and approved by GCHQ in the UK and the FCC in the US. Expect some similar protectionist measures on Voge coming soon. BTW, if Boris hadn't succumbed to US pressure, 5G would have rolled out quicker, we'd now have an operational HS2 and cheaper electricity because of the Chinese nuclear power plants he cancelled.
People constantly bash on chinese bikes but they forget the japanese bikes werent good when they first came out. The difference between the jap companies and chinese companies is that Japan is fighting japanese companies for the best product which means they often forget its for the customer, meanwhile chinese companies work together, they might have different ways to use the techniques but they share everything under the idea of a rising tide.

I downsized from a F800GS to the Voge 300 Rally, and have no regrets, brilliant motorcycle

What a completely honest and unbiased review, refreshing to see that. That is one huge amount of bike for the money.
Glad you're back and healthy Kate 😊

This is a great video and review Kate - as always
at least this voge has a heated saddle and heated grips unlike the 525dsx you tested eariler this year , nice to see you back . plus spot lights
You really are a damn good reviewer! Everything we would want to know plus more. Thank you.
I watched about six videos on this bike, and I enjoyed yours the most, Kate. Great job, as always.
Great review Kate! Very interesting bike. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Good video Kate. Hope you are fully well now.

A good review Mrs ! You do make me chuckle 😉
Great review as always.
Mega value for money that.
Marnin Kate. Glad you've done a review on Voge 900. Hopefully getting a test ride on one soon. 🤙👍 outtakes 😊 great singing 🎶 👌
Lovely bike! Seems to be excellent value for the money. Fantastic review as always!
Another great video Kate, keep it up 👍

I find the same with our nc1100 blood bike. Not a fan of that either. Lovely bike and great value

I'm shocked, that is a complelling package. I lvoe that it comes with a dashcam.
Hats off, to the Chinese; for what they've put together at that price. It's a nice machine ✌️
I'm seriously thinking of trading the harley in for one kate
test ride one for sure!
I wonder why we don't get the DS900X in Belgium
So is it coming to the usa?

It's basically f850 gsa rendered with triumph headlight, KTM switch buttons, shockers & wheels from Africa twin 😂
basically!!
Hello there from Portugal. I ordered one on june and is not available till February. Sold out this year.
super eazy to ride , can you make a U turn on the road on the voge ds 900 x ???
Yes, i had to u turn it on a farm before i started filming. Easy to manage and control.
It may not trump the BMW but it seems it may make some waves for the price.
For the price it's great value for money, Just wait until the Chinese start building Boxer twins😬😁
Every bike manufacturer should be scared

How to the Chinese make a bike like this for a complete package at the price ??????????
Slave labour of course just like the solar panels they produce.
Very, very true
so no one is gonna talk about some parts of it looks like it came from a bmw f850 or 750?? and the engine too
Yea, there are a LOT of crossover parts. You put this and an F850gs side by side and your jaw will drop.
