Hats of to Honda with the new Hornet. Can only be good for the consumer when other manufacturers are forced to sell there bikes at more affordable prices. Only the SP is coming here to Australia but such a good price. Great job presenting!
It’s amazing to see a girl I met in a Harley Davidson in 2018, into such a successful RUclipsr. Every video is better and better. All the best Kate, you are doing great! Pleasure to watch 🎉
I've got an enfield 350 (as well as a yam 600) and 20bhp is enough if you have the right frame of mind. If you treat it like a grown up, torquey 125 then it's great fun. You need to put your ego away and just enjoy the ride!
Super cool video 😊 really enjoyed the commentary from you both I really wanted to check that classic 650 out darn this flu! Great to see Suzuki back with a new bike to.
Interesting reviews ladies and well summed up. One thing stood out to me and that was the Honda pricing. Looks like they are the first of the big manufacturers prepared to take it to the Chinese. Another thing with the big powerful nakeds is the lack of a fly screen to neaten the front and give a bit of wind protection.
Well done kate and lilly 🙂, enjoyed your little walk round the show. I think the price for the drz400 will be £5995 on the road so it's not too far away from the competition 🤔
I'd love to see it at £6500 but I just don't think they'll do it that cheap. Their gsxs1000 is £12K compared to the hornet 1000 at £8,999. I think they will struggle to be competitive in price but I hope they can!!! 🤞
Great video, I was hoping to get to motorcycle live last Saturday but ended up rolling my foot on a trip hazard and have been hobbling around in pain since, fingers crossed it gets suitably better during the week and I may be able to call in to the show next Saturday as I travel down from Manchester to Bedford 🤞
Good film. Many DRZ owners are not simply nostalgic about them - they're still riding them. I'm one of them. Mine was allegedly 40 bhp, but I've never tested it. Plenty strong off-road. Not very comfy on it, but if I need to go a long way I throw it in a trailer. The DRZ 400 was attractive because it was tall, bouncy, super-tough, sub-150 kg and had longish service intervals. The Honda 300 is a good effort - ask Itchy Boots - but a step-down in power & torque from the DRZ. My bike is the E version - the most off-road variety. It's disappointing to see Suzuki isn't offering an E option but the S might be good enough - we'll see!
Great reviews and content. Well I'll be out and about on my new steed next week when I bring her home to Yorkshire. She had been owed by a friend over in Lancashire.
Seriously, you two lassies could sell ice to Eskimos. Loved outake at the end. You should do part 2 of the bikes that came in at 11 - 20. I am looking forward to the Honda Hornet SP 1000 review.
Hi both, enjoyed your bike reviews, I will be interested to see how you get on with the Hornet 1000. Honda deserve a lot of praise, to think they can produce a bike at that price point and still make a profit just shows how over priced many bikes are. Thank you Kate & Lillie.
You should start your own tv show together doing this kind of thing more often, it’s so natural how you show everything and alternate telling about it. :)
Another great preview, I do hope you have recovered from your illness.. I have a big favour to ask, I’ve just bought a 2024 cf moto 700mt bike and wondered if you would take it for a couple of days to do an honest review. Good or bad as to your thoughts , it’s now run in so no holding back. I was looking to have a couple of nights at the pods at the Look Out cafe, could meet there and you have the bike and see what you really think to these Chinese little babies. Please let me know . And keep doing these great reviews. 5 star. 👍👍👍
Hi Kate and Lilley, great job! Kate, I'm interested in the Hornet 1000 as thinking about an MT09SP will the in-line 4 of the Hornet egg you on or be happy going at normal speeds (previously owned a S100R Sport sold as it always wanted to go go go)?
Hornet 1000 questions, 1 range at high speed, can you fit a screen , or us Honda making a tour screen to fit because of huge design of clocks , winter tire recommendations , seat hight, and us comfort seat available for those that want a touring vehicle instead of just sport
Great fun, you two; like walking around with you at a motorcycle show. Living on the west coast, if it's not Japanese, then it's too far away for suspect quality/reliability. Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.
A nice selection. But was there an assortment of concept bikes or near production bikes? Hybrids? Electrics? One stand out bike not shown is the RE Flying Flea e-bike for its retro modern look, a nice change from the Anime crowd, and one that might just be representative of the future of motorcycles.
About the hornet cb1000 I hear the seat is not as comfortable as the street triple 765. After just sitting on it, how did it feel, not just the seat, but the ergonomics. Does it have cruise control? I believe not! Also the tires it comes on, are said to be on the cheap, as for performance capability. Does it have tubeless tires? I should think so! Even with shortcomings, so as to keep the price low, it is still a beautiful bargain.
Good to know Thanks for the response. I agree with others Both yourself and Lillie should be doing a podcast. Maybe next year you can get Lillie, grace, ruby etc and you all do the NC 500 as a group?
Does the CB1000 Hornet & Hornet SP has an six-axis ABS+Traction control? What's the differences to the older "neo classic" 1000ccm model? Does the new one use the same engine of the older model?
Even more entertaining than the bikes: watching all the dorky visitors wandering around with their beer bellies, trying to look cool in front of the 2 girls
Well, being the magnificent specimen you no doubt are, perhaps you should have been there and showed all the dorks that were present on how to do it properly and look good in front of girls. Never mind. 😂
Save yourself the ticket money next year. Just stand outside any pub on a Fri/sat. nights if you’d rather look at blokes with beer bellies for your entertainment. Whatever floats yer boat. Personally, I prefer bikes, girls and beer.
@UsernameKate ouch, as an older retired biker I'm always keenly aware of the prices of bikes and the average working guy or gal may struggle in our modern world to afford such things

What a shocking design on the Ducati
Lovely looking KTM
What's shocking about it?
Thanks for the tour Kate and Lillie, there are some pretty cool-looking bikes to look out for! Nicely presented! 👌
Great to see you two again!
Into the smaller cc, more budget options so the Suzuki/BMW 450 and Honda 350 look great.
Also The Bear!
😁 I think 2025 is gonna be a great year for bikes!!
Doubt the bmw will be budget

Wow it looks a lot quieter there than it was on Monday. Could barely see the bikes for people. Great video 👍
So many great bikes there this year, spoilt for choice! 😍
Hello Kate & Lilly, very nice idea your presentation together! Happy to see you too again! I wish you too the best.
Great video and so many bikes to choose from. Was there Sunday and loved the Tiger 800 but also thought the Ducati Streetfighter V2 was really nice.
