unaware is cool af, didn't know about it until I recently had a XY run with swoobat. imagine not needing sure-hit moves for double team spammers. def one of my favorite abilities

It's honestly funny how the prerelease SM stuff advertised Innards Out as the "big deal" about Pyukumuku only for nobody to give a crap when we saw it could have Unaware instead. Talk about getting upstaged.
Using Soak on Steel and Poison type so they can be affected by Toxic, really smort tactic :D
Also remember kids, this is why we use Taunt

not gonna lie, 6 smeargle is the trolliest thing ever! Their sets could be literally ANYTHING because they can learn every move in existence other than moves that fail if not used by X pokemon

@@arandomguy4388 As the original comment stated... OTHER THAN signature moves. Mew is known to have the DNA of all Pokemon. Everything came from him and almost nothing escapes looping back. This includes signature moves such as Precipice blades, dragon ascent, V create and so forth.

personally, i like pyukumuku. It's really tanky overall and having the ability Unaware makes it even tankier. It's also a great setup pokemon and how can you not love its cute face.
I used pyukumuku before I saw this video, and I always took an opportunity to block anyone and start stalling, and it was funny how I beat a legendary spammer (he had no strategy) with only an unaware pyuk

Pyukumuku is the perfect "pick your poison" Pokemon. There are so many strategies to it it's unbelievable. A lot of people underestimate it. Has the perfect combination of underestimated power & underrated cuteness.
It's always fun to use a team of 6 pyukumukus to sweep teams. Swagger screech always messes with people

there was actually a time where pyukumuku had a niche killing lele. it ran enough hp so it would get ohkoed by psychic, but would kill lele with innards out.
Never set up against a Pyukumuku. Either it’s unaware, and ignores your stat boosts, or it’s innards out, which will oneshot you right back.
Didn't know that innards out was a free counter/ mirror coat. Good to know for the future.
Kinda, the way it works is if you faint a pokemon with innards out is you take however much HP they had when they fainted in damage.
Example: My opponent faints my pokemon dealing 69 (nice) damage. They take 69 (nice) damage in return.
It's only for contact moves so most likely a counter rather than a mirror coat

If he doesn't know about Unaware, there's a decent chance he also doesn't know about Steel's immunity to being poisoned. So there's a good chance they were just thinking "Why's he using Soak? What's that supposed to do?" They -might- have thought it was for removing STAB... but I'm honestly not sure if that's something they're more or less likely to know about. Probably more, but might not know having your type changed would do anything about it.
Literally all the Zacian player had to do was switch forever and the Pyus couldn't do anything. But no by all means use Swords Dance...

Spore won't hit Grass-types or Pokémon with the Overcoat Ability, and it's blocked by the held item Safety Goggles.

try using pyuku with soak toxic recover recycle and either kee or maranga berry. whichever one you pick, put evs in the other defense for versatility

I absolutely love Pyuku especially on stall teams. He and Toxapex usually end up 2v6ing entire teams on their own with soak, toxic, recover and protect but I think substitute is actually better tbh. So many people understandably hate stall but it’s just so enjoyable for me making a team of mons with great survivability >.

Soak is crucial for crowned zacian cause it part of steel and turn it into water type for toxic, then you just substitute recover with unware pyuku. I guess?
