Snacking on local street food is most definitely a part of the experience and one of the best in my opinion! Morroco looks like an amazing place to sample some cuisine!
I would like to explain to you that the lady who said 50 dh meant per a kilo and that's the right price. Also, the pastery is only the base of briouate that triangle thing that you ate. Briouate have almonds or peanut inside. The pastery is also the base of bastilla. I really recommend it. You are going to enjoy it. There are two types of bastilla : one of chicken and another of fish and both are delicious.

I am always a fan of a street food tour! I think I would have tried almost all of that except for the sardines at the end. The honey and honey deserts must be so tasty there.
so many amazing foods to try and you really dived in there and tried everything! But hard to beat the way they cooked those pancakes on those... well whatever they were!
In Morocco we have 3 sort of sardines and don't let you confuse the smallest one with anchovy!. The biggest one is the chipper, it is prepared for grill meal. The mean one is the most consumed. An the smallest one is very common but I think it's bit cheaper but it is always confused with anchovy being all of them compared prise. I see that you have eaten bones 😁 in general people don't eat bones of mean and biggest sardines! But it seems it's healthy to eat all!
@@KayandGogo How sorry I am! I have missused the word 'mean' for 'medium' one. Indeed you have eaten the medium sardines which the most consumed. As you guess such type of sardines is Mediterranean common consumed meal. There is one which we find in south of France and in Morocco, North, Est and everywhere: garlic grilled sardines. Baked. With olive oil.. By way, the smal sardines are called in french: sardinettes or petingas!

I thought I'd watch just a couple of minutes but I ended up watching the whole video and I truly enjoyed it all ❤ The only problem I was a bit hungry and this made me hungrier 😂😂
8:18 that's actually the dough used to make the Bastilla pie and the briwat, it's called warka, which means paper in english, msemen is another one hahaha
