Great video Osama. The nuclear community is in the 16th month of our greatest year ever.
Posted at TFIN, of course. :D

Appreciate you counting down Kilstryke, it still feels unreal. I'm glad we are finally here. Thanks for the reshare!

As the next generation nuclear gets commercialized, the cost will drop in half or less.

I strongly agree as well, it's economies of scale. The first one will be expensive, however once we create entire fleets it will significant reduce costs

As an Australian, I very much hope Australia gets rid of their ban on nuclear power generation.
It's ridiculous that a country can export so much Uranium, but only legally allow one research/medical isotope reactor...

Indeed it would be exciting to see Australia get nuclear power reactors! I believe "Nuclear for Australia" organization is doing a phenomenal job at pushing for this www.nuclearforaustralia.com/petition?splash=1

Hey Osama! I am looking at possible career options and degrees for my undergrad and keep overthinking and stress about it alot. Was wondering how big of a market is there for nuclear eng and would it be easy landing a job after completion and the competition in the market and overall jobs projection.

Depends on geographical location. If your in Germany, the future is not bright, however if your looking to work in Canada or the US this will be a great choice. The market specifically for nuclear engineering graduates isn't necessarily high, however those with that undergrad can fill vast roles in the nuclear industry. The competition is pretty low so far and the jobs are exceptional. Those are my thoughts as of 2024, things can indeed change overtime

@@OsamaBaig thanks for the answer. I had just one more question. What's the case with international students and/or students that could take nuc eng in a different uni and try for work and details about the security clearance and stuff. Thank you in advance
