    Today we are talking about brand new updates in the case Megan Boswell and how she literally ripped the Casey Anthony story from the headlines and attempted to execute her own bootleg version of it.

    A few years ago, I was at work and my son’s grandma called in a panic saying they couldn’t find my son. My heart sank, I ran out of work, I was an hour away at the time and have never drove so fast. I called 911 on my way, and was hyperventilating, and crying, and praying, and saying please let him be okay. He was okay, he wasn’t feeling well and had went and crawled in one of the beds and was completely covered with blankets and a pillow, and you couldn’t see him. They had been screaming his name, and never woke up. When I got there he was running a fever, and I ran and grabbed him and just held him crying. That was the worst day of my life to date. She’s guilty, and disgusting.

    My sister-in-laws' sister lost her little girl Maggie that was barely 2 years old. Her and her husband were driving with Maggie in the backseat in her car seat. A garbage truck came out of nowhere and smashed into them. It crushed the backseat of the car where this poor baby was sitting in her carseat. The mother was injured badly and the father only had a few injuries. I was at the funeral and the mother had to leave from the hospital and was brought into the funeral home in a wheelchair. I will NEVER forget the look on her face and was feeling. This was a woman that was completely broken. She could not even talk she was so upset. This is what a mother would look like if they lost their child. Granted Maggie wasn't lost but still this girl laughing like this I just want to slap her face off. It has been 15 years since Maggie passed away and her mother still has a hard time talking about her.

Then the night came when they found her and I just sobbed so deeply. Truly crushed me because I 100 percent believed she might be found. I had to actually take a break from true crime period after that until I had my baby because of how strongly baby Evelyn's loss affected me and I didn't even know her, am nowhere close to where she was. I hope and pray regularly that there will be justice for this beautiful baby girl, she deserved so much better.

I look at these cases so differently now that I have a precious one year old daughter who I love more than life! Children are so innocent. Evelyn loved her “mom” unconditionally, felt safe with her, danced to baby shark with her..and she betrayed her. Betrayed her love, her safety net. How anyone could do this to their own child is beyond me. So heartbreaking.

      i was the same way when caylee anthony went missing. i was pregnant with my first child, a girl too, when she went missing. i became so invested in the case. I felt like I almost fell into a depression when her body was eventually found, and then i became so obsessed with the trial. i would live stream it at work, and when the verdict came in, i took off work for a week bc I was so angry and upset. it was too much and too hard the way i was invested and that had never happened to me before this, I think bc I was pregnant for the first time and then being a mom. It did happen one other time after this though too. A little boy named Adrian Jones. The physical abuse he endured at the hands of his father and stepmother, and then they fed him to pigs when they killed him...i was so sickened by what happened to him and how CYS could overlook the blatant abuse so many times at his home visits, my mom and I both started writing his states legislature, governor, mayors, the CYS agency involved in his case and others surrounding his county, because he was failed by so many. I was so angry by what had happened to him, I would get so insanely sad and upset and sometimes when i would close my eyes, i would see this image of him standing up to his neck in mildewed freezing water in this backyard pool that they would make him stand in as 'punishment' (for him doing NOTHING WRONG!) or images of him curled up in a shower stall that they locked him up in for days on end & beat & tortured and withheld food and a toilet from him in, And i couldn't stop thinking about the pain he felt, how he probably prayed to god for someone to save him, he probably questioned himself what he did wrong to deserve what was happening bc kids do that especially when it’s their own father, and he probably begged for it to stop. i still can't stop thinking about it and its been a few years but it’s not as bad as the first couple months I found out about that. I have stopped letting myself get as involved as i did in these cases bc those 2 broke me, but i still want to be an advocate for these kids. for every 1 child we discover has been abused or hurt, there is hundreds more that will go unnoticed. THATS what sickens me most.

      SAME! When I was pregnant I stopped any true crime as well. But I was paranoid about someone trying to steal / cut my baby out of my womb! I had heard more than one case of this happening and to say that the thought terrified me to no end is an understatement. Now I dont mean I was paranoid to the point of having it effect or change my life, nothing like that. But it DID cross my mind frequently. If I was alone at home at night, if I found myself at a store alone and coincidently bumping into the same unknown stranger again and again, or possibly walking alone in the park it would also cross my mind, scanningthe tree line thinking if someone may come out of its shadows just to hurt us...my thoughhts would come out of nowhere, seemingly triggered by surroundings or circumstance. ... among a handful of other situations. So yeah, I def also like you, had to refrain from the Ole true crime for the remainder of those 9 months. Which ended with a beautiful 7 pound 11 ounce gift. The best gift. My most fav gift ive ever received. THAT NO ONE TRIED TO STEAL FROM ME!!! Lol

    I remember hearing about Evelyn shortly after the case broke and she was reported missing. I just will never understand how a parent can harm their own child. I have not been lucky enough to have children of my own unfortunately, but I do have nieces and nephews. I would protect any of them with my life if, god forbid, something happened while they were in my care. How anyone can hurt a child is just beyond me.
    I also want to say how heartbroken I am for Evelyn’s grandfather 💔 He was the only one who cared enough to make sure that the police were aware she was missing and to demand answers. Then to find out that little Evelyn’s remains were hidden inside a shed on his property. That poor man, I can’t even imagine how he feels. He seemed to really care for her, unlike her own mother.

I have a hard time judging her on the smiling and nervous laugh because when I get super uncomfortable or feel like I’m in trouble I smile and laugh and even though I’m aware of it and very self conscious of it, it still happens. I can’t understand not immediately reporting a child as missing. We all know time is of the essence and there’s no excuse. I really hate to hear of missing children cases and crimes against children, it breaks my heart.

      I don't think the kind of "discomfort" that makes someone nervous laugh, comes anywhere near the horrified anguish a parent experiences while facing the loss of a child. NO apparent emotion/numbness, I can understand. But actual chuckling and smirking like this woman did repeatedly throughout the interview was bizarre af. As a parent, I can't imagine being capable of laughing anytime soon at all under those circumstances, ( despite what anyone says about different people having different grieving behaviors ).

    • @alejandrapoch9338
      @alejandrapoch9338 2 года назад

      When I’m nervous I also tend to smile or giggle a little bit. But when my daughter went missing on holiday in a busy street (aged 3 almost 4)I immediately got serious and a little panicky and started to question everybody everywhere and look for her everywhere. No way there was a moment where I had to giggle or smile at all. The police came out and started asking me questions and all I could think of was to give a good description while thinking this is wasting my time of searching her, I need to find her! I was frantic but with a clear mind. I was scared, desperate, felt sad and I was angry with myself for letting her out of sight for that very second. I cannot imagine when someone asking me how you feel in those hours/days of terror which is the case here (in my case it was for 30 minutes which felt like an eternity!) that you don’t express feelings of a desperation angst and devastation.
      These murderers say ‘I want them back’ because they know they’re expected to ‘miss them’ and therefore tend to adres to come back as a body. that’s the only thing that I can think of. But in my case I was saying ‘I want to find’ ‘Please help me find her’ not ‘I want her back’ I want to find her! that’s very different

      When my "mom" killed my son 17 years ago and i was interviewed, i was devastated and so angry, never once did i smile or laugh. I looked like a nut cases, switching between grief and anger, crying then cold eyed. It's hard to describe, I've never felt like i did the day she was arrested. It's definitely not something I'd ever want anyone to go through even my worst enemy I'd have empathy for if they lost a child.

    the little giggle/chuckle that she does after almost everything she says in the first interview is just creepy to me. Also in that first interview did you notice that the reporter asked her like 3/4 times how she’s feeling about Evelyn missing & every time she answered she dodged the question with a response “I just want her back”. She never gave her feelings when asked, as a mother I wouldn’t even be able to do an interview if something happened to my daughter. They way she goes from sad to it’s just another day during the interview is sickening in my opinion & just shows she’s a narcissist psychopath, just saying.
