I spent 14 years in law enforcement and this deputy has the best demeanor I’ve ever seen
Serious question: you don't think the cop's response is reckless (or at least unsafe for himself and everyone else around) given the type of call and aggression of the suspect? I know we'll never know everything the cop knew or perceived at the time. But he seems way too nonchalant about multiple calls of a man with a gun at an elementary school.
@@NoName-np8ko Perhaps he's being calm in order to try to de escalate the situation.
@@NoName-np8ko not at all. He's actively de-escalating this guy. There's no firearm visible as he comes up so there's no reason for the deputy to be all excited. He's gotten the guy away from the firearm without having to go hands-on. What exactly do you want here?
Yelling and screaming at the police will never accomplish anything
Its bad police work. You cant let an armed person under investigation take control of the situation and play the victim in order to prevent you from detaining him. That gets cops killed
He just proved that he can’t control his temper even with an extremely calm person. I can just imagine how this jerk would react to someone that he felt wronged him.
He's a professional victim.
Hate to see how he “ disciplines” his son, at home. I would die of embarrassment, if my son’s school seen my husband acting like that.
He has no business being anywhere near a firearm. He should have been in handcuffs and sitting in the back of the car, to cool off.
I am glad they put his firearm someplace where he could not get it. He should have his permit revoked and all his firearms confiscated.
This guy *can't* stop talking trash, because if he does he's going to start shaking and crying. He *knows* he screwed up. I used to have to "deescalate" and break up fights at a shelter where I worked, and I saw this song and dance soooo many times.
He’s accusing the officer of trying to embarrass him in front of parents but he’s the one who is yelling and being aggressive. The officer is being calm and patient.
They way he’s concerned about that and then the way he bursts out of the car makes no sense!
There's another video of this same guy running his mouth and getting arrested on my channel.. 🤬
I saw a guy standing up for his rights against unlawful detainment. Just because somebody points the finger and runs away that does not mean that you have reasonable suspicion that a crime has been committed. The complainant left the scene, at that point there's no victim. All you have is somebody said that guy's got a gun. The cops should ask do you have do you have a gun and if the responses I don't have to answer your questions, the investigation is over. I was a deputy sheriff for 6 years, there's rules and laws for a reason. It does not matter how, more patients a cop is when he has no justifiable reason to be doing his actions in the first place. The guy in the car is not wrong, where is the victim, where is the complainant, did you see it, do you have it on camera? Those are all questions that are very valid and negates all reasonable articulable suspicion. As a private citizen minding your own business you have a right to tell a cop your suspicions are your business and until you have some evidence go away.
what you blind and deaf? they put cuffs on em. thats an embarrassment
He's from NY thats how he talks. He needs to go back to NY.
This dude is LUCKY he ran into THIS police officer. He's been infinitely more patient than I would and could have ever been.

Oh he'd def be getting some of Edison's Medicine lol
As soon as he pushed that door on me the first time he would’ve eaten pavement
And that is why you should never be a police. Police should not arrest nor detain nor even take 5 mins of that man who was with all his right pissed off and should be able to express his feelings. That is not against the law. He also complied always with every order and also provided information to the officers whenever he was asked for it. He did absolutely nothing wrong and was arrested for absolutely no reason at all.
So by the law what would you have done?
Imagine just for one moment living with this guy. What a nightmare.

@@jxrizzle111 The cop didn't witness any of it, so one cutting off the other isn't in play. When you pull a gun on someone over something silly, that becomes an issue, especially near a school. Also, guns are not permitted on most; if not all, school property and this guy had just allegedly pulled a gun on someone. A smart person would have just remained quiet and said he is invoking his 5th Amendments rights and not further incriminated himself. The cop is responding to reports of someone flashing a gun in a threatening manner in front of a school. What precipitated that is hardly his concern. Besides, the man’s behaviour is a tell-all weathervane as to who is likely in the wrong re: the traffic incident. His flair for the dramatic and subsequent escalation when the cop starts questioning him, and I’ll add in a very restrained manner, tells you everything you need to know. No doubt, he’s using a healthy serving of hyperbole when saying someone “nearly ran him off the road and killed him”. If I reacted like him (and had a gun, obviously, which I don’t) every time I was done wrong in traffic, there’d be nothing more than empty shell casings, cadavers and scorched earth in my wake. Attempting to defend this individual defies any and all reasoning and sound judgement. What should be recognized as basic civility and decency should never be castigated by someone else by using the term “boot licker”.
“You’re going to embarrass me in front of all these people…”
Yeah… I don’t think that’s the cop’s fault!
