Gojira is so incredible live - the way they sync their percussion and strumming totally resonates in the venue, and you FEEL the music. It's fucking primal in a way. The energy in the crowd has been absolutely incredible each time I've seen them. Make sure to get right down where the action is, and experience the vibes with your fellow Gojira fans.
I agree they're great in live, but some specific songs are better in studio imo.
Of course, sometimes the clean sounds from a studio recording feel better in the earholes than raw live sound; that said, being on the floor during one of their sets is a feast for all of the senses (except taste, hopefully) not just hearing.

Remembrance is good, but there's still some Gojira gems Ruben hasn't react to yet. Oroborus, The Gift Of Guilt, and FUCKING Clone.
I've done GoG....my favourite song by Gojira I think...
Oh right, I forgot :) You should try Oroborus then (Live @ Garorock 2014), it has the same kind of melodic tapping riff and very simple verse.

You should check out Emperor either Curse You All Men or Loss and Curse of Reverence both are from Live at Wacken 2006. Its intense and fast symphonic black metal, I think you will like it.
