Hard to feel bad for people that got to use it. I've missed every cool farm this league by simply not having time on weekdays before the patches.
It's the people who DID NOT get to use it that will never catch up and prices will go up and the poor will never catch up I have 26 mirrors from this a hh a mb and my guild mates have only 30 divines. They are never catching up now and the economy is smashed poor can't farm and the rich can't sell items
That’s most of us. I played the first Sunday of league then came back next Sunday and I was priced out of league already

Good, only like 500 people in the whole game were able to use it. Some of those allflames/scarabs were more than a Headhunter.

It doesn't mean "always has a corrupted implicit" it means there's a 50% chance to gain a corrupted implicit and 0% chance it's gonna turn your craft into something entirely different.

Good for you. I wasted a day changing my build using all my currency, and didnt sell my anachy or get the chance to run my first attempt. My other league plans were to supply that farm rather than run it. Now my atlas tree is also fucked.

I don't always agree with Ziz, but when I do, it's that unidentified items is antiquated in ARPGs

About identification : Maps are thing I can think of which is able to be used while unidentified
This is probably better for the game in the long run, but I get people being mad about it in the short term.
I also very much agree with the identification thing, I don't MIND having to ID items, but I think you shouldn't need to use a resource in order to do so. Scrolls are completely irrelevant after around act 8 anyway.
Items being unided also enables gambling and selling to gamblers, though. I hate identifying things like That Which Was Taken, Watcher's Eye, and the like and much prefer the consistent profit and selling to people who want to take the risk.
Game restarts every league the economy is diffrent everytime I have over 20 mirrors while people in my guild have only 30 divines nerfing a strat mid league so one half of the economy is stuck poor destroyed the economy a league where things are cheap and easy to sell is fine the unacceptable part is my friends now expected to farm 100 times harder to afford the same things I got for 100 times cheaper. THAT is what's bad for the game
You don't do patches like this in the middle of the league though, SC economy was already fucked. Now whatever integrity the league had left is too.
I want there to be a giga scroll(book?) of wisdom that identifies all items in the area. It would preserve the ID-based gamba mechanics while also letting our loot filters highlight the rares with sick rolls that currently get filtered out just because they're unidentified.

i don't mind ID'ing, i just do it the first few days when random rares can bring in some early money, then turn off almost every rare from my filter, but their recent changes to add pointless extra identification is unwelcome.
i moreso want to segment a portion of my inventory so it's easier to quickly visualize the portion i don't want to toss into my stash. the rucksack was insane for this. we don't necessarily need a separate compartment though, just some visual we can set to the first x-rows and y-columns that makes them look different to the rest.
i think wisdom scroll exists in its current form that allows them to drop the loot that they currently drop, they could do a non wisdom scroll strategy but it would involve making every drop rarer which won't feel good but will modernize the game
As someone who didn't have the chance to play around with this: I wish the anarchy allflames would just get nerfed in droprate. Chasing FOMO before nerfs is not a fun playstyle.
So just don't? There are so many great ways to make currency, you don't need to constantly chase the best one.

Nobody is forcing you in that playstyle, its a game, play to have fun.
So I had a preservation scarab drop yesterday right before my ISP decided to have some unscheduled maintenance so I couldn't sell it, and after just coming home from work I realized I had a curation scarab as well, I'm in shambles
I dropped one of the curation scarabs 20 min after patch :( made the good sound and thought I was gonna bank and now it's like 6 div
I had skipped affliction league and decided to play this one instead. I’m heavily regretting it now that I’m seeing so many people loved affliction
Yeah I played affliction for 3 months and did 12 builds. I even crafted shit myself as paying 2 div per block didn't hurt so much when you could do 50-100 div a day.
Only league I 40/40ed on, new sentinel in terms of leagues to be nostalgic about.
Affliction was way better if you don't enjoy exploiting. Also... rucksack was the best thing ever. Especially now that they made the dumb decision to never bring it back. RIP if you missed it.
For me and my friends affliction was one of the best leagues ever. The current League is... Not so funny.
I joined late into affliction, but I loved it and it gave me hype for necropolis. I still enjoy necropolis, but affliction took a lil time getting used to
Have been saving Anarchy allflames since you first posted the guide (before T17 strats), so I could eventually swap the atlas tree over when I had a substanial juice.
The change was probably warranted, but it feels pretty shit when I just could have sold allflames yesterday instead.
Well i lost a headhunter lol. Wanted to sell allflames and buy hh but well lets see how weekend goes but cant play in week days so i am kinda disipointed. And also wanted to do some stuff myself always late. Pluss rich got richer now. I like game but that nerfs are kinda sadge. But well i slow grind ritual
The fact that fub was able to farm 10+ mirrors in a day solo shows that this was absolutely broken

within an hour after the patch i got 5 anarchy allflames. what couldve been 10ish div became trash lol at least they are still a good choice for the convert mods

It works for me it’s just not absurdly profitable but good enough to be worth farming in my opinion and scarabs seem to be going back up in price.
I'm sure. But a single anarchy added 40 or more rogues. I had fun with it too. No good drops though

At this point they should not have changed the allflame, the currency state is now fcked and people who couldnt farm t17 with that strat are basicly outcircled by the amount of moeny they need to spend for upgrades

Reverse loot rarity. Mirrors and divines have the same drop rate as wisdom scrolls, wisdom scrolls are now the rarity of divines. Disable vendoring items for currency fragments. :P
@@KhronicD Lol really change the game up. The last time I think we got one of them was during Synthesis, some stuff was boosted, and there was like 6 guaranteed league mechanics per map, from a small pool. So basically every map was harbinger/beyond lol
Was a good way to bring the players back for a league they had refined into a great league, but nobody was around to see it haha.
I play hc ssf and I've been really busy with school so I'm pretty far behind this league. Very unhappy that I'm now unable to partake in the fun before they kill a strat.
Don't ever expect to be swimming in mirrors, but I usually like to at least experience the fun bits once per league

I don't believe they didn't know this would happen. It's clearly intended with the design of allflames & new scarabs. They're just going to pretend otherwise to avoid outrage; they have a clear, explicit strategy of rewarding popular streamers in order to draw in attention for the game, then removing the shiny toys when the mass playerbase gets close to doing it.
Dang it this time I tried to go for new seas and not using RF nor Boneshatter but league starting with a Scion Armour Stacker... I just finished the acts after 10 days of suffering and I couldnt taste a single bit of this strat dang it
If you just finished acts after 10 days it will probably take you another month to afford the scarab at peak price.

I really like ziz's point at about 3:30. It would be so nice to not need to carry around the dumb scrolls and have to do all that extra clicking. The game would really benefit from that.
Well, at least Torchlight has a new season starting next week. Maybe in 3.25 I'll have time to "abuse early, abuse often" to get in on this.
I almost got my asshole ate by the fist pack in red maps with exile all flame so its ok for that to die lol. I giga casual this league and thought fuck it im 'strong enough' and instantly noped out of that map.

Sounds to me that GGG needs to actually test their shit before releasing since this has happened that past 3 leagues.
So I sold all my gear and currency and made a new character to farm fractured items with the all flames started 3 hours before the patch went live …. Needless to say I’m so unbelievably dirt poor now
Hey guys so, new player here, what do i do after i finish my starter build? When am i supposed to switch and start on a new character for like a stronger build? Or am i supposed to stay with league starter for the entire season??
Once you have built up enough currency you can either start a new character and try out a skill that looks cool, or you can respec your current character to that skill. Its also perfectly fine to just keep minmaxing your current character if you enjoy it enough and you can squeeze more damage out of it to do all of the content in the game.

But i dont know if it has guides for leveling and such, i currently just look at build vids on youtube, but a lot if the ones i like are not updated for new league, also, what's enough currency (more or less not necessarily exact number)
At this point why didn’t they just make affliction juice permanent?! That league was fun. A normie like me actually made a couple thousand divs. But now this league is screwed because like 200 guys have every mirror and thousands of divines and all the prices 3x’d over night. Back to standard for my ass xD
Affliction wasn't fun, it was just juicy. Once you get used to the drops, it stops being dopamine-inducing and just ends up being a new baseline.
Honestly juice was my least favorite part of Affliction. Charms, the boss, passives... those were all much better than juice, which varied from mass-inflation causing on the "positive" end still being a drawback, to annoying as fuck if you couldn't kill something because it had 99% DR and life regen. It's why the new fake affliction juice just isn't that good. Wisps on an end boss isn't really something you want 90% of the time.
This league just feels shit as a solo player. So many of the scarabs are completely dead on arrival, and the good ones are all being mass bought as people flock to the same strats one by one as they get patched.
Tier 17s were a mistake
T17 currency abuse still possible, making around 4-6 divs every single map with around 2 div invest. So bonkers
3.24 is a great league to skip tbh
I'm skipping. Had a bad start so gave it time to see how it goes and honestly the league itself looks kinda weak. Most interesting stuff is core so I'll see it next league.

Ive enjoyed this league due to the QOL changes and extra atlas trees, make it SO much more engaging. The whole abuse early thing will always happen, its only because casual players cant pair skill, strong builds with luck of their connections to soeedfarm t17s, fomo is such a lethal weapon. Just play your own game and enjoy. I dont understand why the market being volatile makes people so upset.
Not to mention, people complaining about prices being out of their reach don't seem to realize that if no one can afford those prices, those items won't sell, and the prices will have to be lowered. It's not JUST supply and demand at work.
Changes mid league like massive nerfs to drop strats should not be a thing. The gap between me who got to do this farm and people in my guild in terms of divs in stash is insane. Im 23 mirrors deep and my friends have a 10th of one it's sad
imo they shouldn't be nerfed unless they completely destroy game's economy, which was the case here
@darrick993 n9thing destroyed about it and the only people who think that is people that don't understand how the Economy works or people running sub optimal strategy complaining. Items are the price they are the people buying them pay less and the people farming them farm them faster and get paid faster. People not paying g 100d for a item because it's easy to get and cost 20d is not a problem it's simple supply and demand. People need to learn to farm effectively and efficiently and stop blaming those getting a lot of currency for them not playing the game correctly. There is NO chance for most my guild to catch up this update destroyed the economy not a farm strategy the economy is diffrence every league
@@willwell2360 how could you turn a blind eye to price fixers? i can link you 3 or 4 different subreddits that legit control markets have dummy accounts for trade items so when you whisper and no one response you go to the next person for slighty cheaper streamer who come up with a build those prices get jacked up because of price fixers it's a thing it's not always people have sub optimal issues it's legit a game that has a market for price fixing that is the issues

5:45 , What does he mean you can do the strat in tier 6 maps? The strat required a mod that only rolls on t17 maps. Maybe he is talking about a different one? The one making 10 mirrors a day absolutely had to be done in t17s.

The same day this strat was discoreved GGG should come and said something like 'A patch will fix this in a couple hours', then nobody will risk buying scarabs so expensive (from 2 to 38divs?) or something like that because at any moment """that day""" it would be fixed. And the economy wouldn't suffer a large hit like that.
Oh no, the strat that requires lot of currency to run, a high budget char and a specific atlas tree got nerfed before i could farm even 1/10th of the currency required, the horror!

Feels so bad that GGG has been making so many good decisions, only to put out an economy farming nerf a week late that destroyed the expectations and efforts of the large group of players trying to get by using the top 1%

Everyone is screwed, because as a result of this strategy, we had super cheap uniques that are usually out of reach for most of average players.
Moreover, the average joe is screwed the MOST, when you think about it. Because those who used the strat, are probably sitting at all the unsold div cards now. So the things they farmed are getting even more expensive.
Wanna see something really funny, watch Snoobea85 cry on stream for an hour about the nerf because he couldnt abuse it. Truly pathetic. This strat was not good for the over all player base.

They already had 10+ mirrors and that fact doesn't change the game for anyone besides RMTers who missed out on the chance to profit. If you aren't a sweat then this will have zero impact on your league
After seeing this, I'm glad I've decided to drop this league after the bad league start. Not even nerfing, but literally removing farming strategies that involves no bugs which means abusers got to not only keep their stuff but double or even triple their stashes value after the patch is ridiculous. Curious to see how next leagues are going to be, and seriously considering playing SSF if I decide to play a league at all.
"Abuse early, abuse often" has always been the case in this game, but now that this applies to actually intended game mechanics from the league, you're forced to play the best optimal strat as soon as it's found out... you never know when they could simply remove it in a random patch mid league.
Yes, the strategy was way past the acceptable levels of loot, lag and whatnot. But they should've thought of that when they introduced the mechanics, as it was quite obvious. I don't think it's good for the game to have that much loot. Still, I think it's worse to have them change things as much as they have done this league.
No, you are not forced to play the best optimal strat, you forced yourself because you saw people dropping mirrors worth of gear so stop blaming others for your greed.

@@Venvaneless Idk about you but every strategy we have done this league be it legion, breach, essence, beast, strongboxes, harbis all of them have been worth running for me and my friends, we do them in rotation as we never have to buy scarabs to run those since we get more than enough from the other strats.
The 3% of sweaties you are mentioning just doesn't exist, there's always tons of guides on how to craft an item you need and its usually 90% cheaper than just outright buying a fully crafted item and uniques have never been this cheap this early into the league.
You are just blinded by the big drops from other people and without thinking about it you reroll your character while drooling and end up hurting instead when it doesn't work for you. It is YOUR choice and in the end of the day the one who decides how YOU want to play the game is YOURSELF.
And lastly and most importantly, everything is a GAMBLE and a risk, without time and effort you won't get anything just like anywhere else, not just in poe. Streamers always say compairing yourself to no-life 24/7 players will just hurt you more, they are dedicated to this game, they spend countless hours strategizing and getting the perfect conditions and perfect builds to do impossible content, so yeah people who play casually should never compair themselves to others, never compair your div/hour and just enjoy the game as it is, and if you really can't stop comparing yourself well theres other game modes that just might be perfect for you if you are triggered by other people's loot and currency that they worked hard for and deserve ruining your experience then maybe its better to play a singleplayer game :).

I was saving my Anarcy allflames to sell when prices were as high as possible. So now I sit here with 44 Anarchy Ilvl 83 that are worth nothing, literally was over 60d yesterday. honestly think im done this league. not only didnt I get to unload my farm, I still had to pay to supply and make this farm, its like a hard reset for me, I have nothing rofl.

Well next time dont use abusive strategies, in every game, in the history of games, on every platform, if something is abused, it will be nerfed ASAP. If you want to abuse something, well then it's a risk you take

One of the workers allegedly owns (ekhm... According to G3 "owned") two websites that sold RMT for PoE (apparently not anymore, still for other games though), it was obvious back in the day, when people got only banned for RMT if they didn't use these specific sites. At some point people got wind of it, because on these websites' impressum showed that guy as the owner. Chris came out saying, they hired that guy owning RMT website, so they could better "combat the practices". How did it work out for them?

I got triggered when u said at the end "I will let you know the next farm thing". Just pls stop putting out tons of currency strats alongside with other content creators. It fcks up the market even faster instead of just keep it to yourselves. If some1 has a little bit knowledge about the game, then they also can figure it out. And beginners or "newbies" will be kinda poor at the start anyways.
GGG is clearly braindead. This should have been nerfed either day 1-3 of the league or not nerfed at all. What they did now is that they made the rich become even more richer and the poor player become ever more poorer. your take kinda sucks. you are on the side of those that could abuse it. imagine how you would feel if you would have prepared your set of maps with scarabs and stuff only to find out when logging in it is all for nothing. Curious how you would have made that video if you would have been on that side.
