I got divine, several rare items worth 1 div, scarab for shopkeeper for 1.7div, elder maps, raw chaos, nothing special, and yesterday i got all junk, best item i found was stack of 10c, its like even further "nerfed" after patch, nerfed an crap mechanic. Best farming method i did was legion few leagues before along with delirium, Simulacrum was also good but tedious.
Yep, majority of the "profit" that I got from Ritual was a t1 crit multi fracture on a feathered quiver two leagues ago. It was like 25-30d if I sold, but I ended up using it. Otherwise, the whole mechanic is a bunch of cope.
Yesterday i got kinda lucky, 7% maximum life fracture on jewel i sold cheapest for 6div( they go for 7-10 div), 21/20 Petrified blood for 3.3 div, and random other items, about 3 omens for 75% less exp after death for 45c each + other random loot. Also sold jewel for 75c, daggers with good mods and +1 level. More than 10 div in few hours, but i didnt just rush for rituals, i completed entire map and killed boss every time.
I started on affliction, i'm on my second league, you have no ideia how these series help me out as a new player to understand strategies to farm stuff, thanks a bunch!
4:34 Also something to add here - if you have unstable ping and I mean your ping like jumping from 50ms to 120ms and so on like whenever you move, do something, etc. - predictive is the way to go. There will be always a point where you will "re-sync" with the server again just keep that one in mind. For me and my shitty internet with unstable ping Predictive is a blessing but yeah if you can you always want to run Lockstep if your CPU can handle it and your connection/ping is stable.
Once you have deferring many good items you can allocate immutable dogma, wich is multiplicative with the scarab and buy the expensive items in one or two maps. So, you use Selectiveness for hunting items and Abundance for Buying.
am beginner and after running barrels for like 30 maps i can say that its best for newbies and its fun to see your wealthyexile/exilence wealth go up linearly lol (was doing blight, then harvest) ps: dropped raw divine orb in my third map into the strat

I found that pairing Ritual up with heist and alva (and doing heist on map machine) generated me a very decent steady income from temples and contracts/blueprints, nearly 12div/hour just from that, and on average I was getting some kind of jackpot item from ritual every ~40 maps that spiked my income way higher.

Hey empy, I'm not playing this league because I'm busy with other games, so idk if they changed something, but you should try kirak missions and those nodes that drop guardian maps from map boss that I did last couple leagues. So, the strategy was running maps and collecting scouting reports while also getting a bunch of kirak missions and guardian maps, do the maps, get guardian maps and only do kirak missions of guardian maps to sell the end game map fragments for 70-100+ chaos each, while also getting and selling rare maven invitations. The cost is basically zero, since kirak maps are free maps. Maybe add 1C for an ocasional reroll of kirak missions. Maybe it's interesting to do some calculations on this strategy since you map fast and probably already have a bunch of kirak missions. Get some Influenced Scouting Report and go. Dont need alch, chisel, scarabs etc to profit
Love the series Empy! Just two things I wanna say about your Ritual testing: - First off, almost nobody is going for 5 rerolls, since it increases investment and decreases spending power. This to me was a bit of an unrealistic bloat to the investment of the farming strategy - Second, you fully spec-ed for blood vessels too, but didn't use any to stack up more profitable / juicy monsters. Overall, I know you can easily add other mechanics to make it more efficient and whatnot, just wanted to give some feedback
Yeah Ritual without using vessels is just wasting your time. It's fairly consistent profit off synth and frac bases alone, but you need vessels reward chance to see them regularly.
going for 5 rerolls is absolutely the play, you do 2x rusted and 2x gilded scarab for ritual, to see as many items and rerolls as possible, i´ve been doing this for ~2000 maps and make 20div/h, ritual is in a really good strat after the introduction of the new scarabs
Went ssf this time, so I more focused on a balanced outcome. Still, would love to see the essence and harvest strats. I usually do both for quite a while, mostly to do my own crafting. Idk how good they are now.
if you can't just trade for them, they're very very good and will help you finish fractured bases you get from graveyard crafting or the synthetic fury allflame I would run a scarab, corpses, and allflame farming strat with the additional shrine and strongbox on the atlas to prepare, rather than doing alch and go essence or harvest
yeah ggg definitely need to buff the amount of juice you get each map and mayb an additional reroll for free. right now it always feels too short with or without scarabs. just for the reason that ritual is probably the most random farming method of all.
obviously heavily reliant on two big drops, the bow and the scarab, but the scarab was actually misspriced. Exilence valued it at like 1200-1300 chaos and when you checked you said 8div, but at the time of recording they were going for around 18div
theres a fork version out there that others picked up, its not called exilencenext as the other one, its a bit different, but i dont remember the exact name
you should test it again with 2x rusted 2x gilded ritual scarab and the keystone that makes items randomly cheaper/more expensive, i have been running this strat for ~2000 maps and make ~20 div/h long term
rather than calculate with taking the bow out, i think taking the preservation scarab out actually makes more sense. when youre doing a ritual farm, as you explained, its kind of expected that eventually youll get a big shop item. randomly getting a 8div scarab from respawned mobs definitely isnt expected though lol
A lot of the profit with ritual are the rares you get that roll with good stats in the vendor. It uses a similar "good rare" system that Heist uses for its well rolled rares in grand heists, so a lot of the time you need to keep an eye out for wands/sceptres/daggers with good caster rolls that sell between 50c to multiple divines. Also check every single Synth base, %attributes mods are worth big money.
Lots of them , you didn't even check. small fracture stuff could be T1 life , chaos , suppress. some good base could fetch a few divs. some non-fracture could also roll +1,+2 spell but filter will hide those sometime.
You probably passed on a lot of money from jewels too, Rituals bring a lot of shimmering ( i believe it's called that) jewel and Vivid Jewel (magic one with %energy shield and %life) just buy the good roll one aug then vaal if second mod is good, you can get some pretty decent prices from them because of all the adorned enjoyer.
a long time ago cutedog found out that ritual becomes better by multiple orders of magnitude when you put deli on it, just some randome 20% deli trash orb will do wonders

Selling time isn't included in any of my farming tests, you can add trading time and modify the numbers for yourself if you want. I usually farm for a week or so and then do a 3-4 hour trading session where I sell everything. I did not find a jackpot item in this run, that would be a Mirror or a Mageblood.
Got my cursing rare ring at the last altair. Got "Onslaught" boots years ago. Would not recommend it otherwise. Another cool league mechanic that GGG neglected. edit - he skipped fractured and synthesised items... the no1 reason to run Ritual in the first place
Man even with omens Ritual still has the same problems. I heard GGG is planning to add the King in the Mists fight through Ritual and even then I don't think that'll save it.
I understand that this farm is to see/get a feel of ritual profit but Empy did it the wrong way. What ritual does is it lets your get more from other contents which means that specing just ritual and no other content lets you get minimum from ritual. I usually pair ritual with blight and expedition due to having large loot table.
as funny as it is to tilt chat by ignoring the synth and frac bases, its literally 95% of rituals value. ive been running a couple hundred maps every league for over a year now and every single time its the same: dogshit rewards in terms of currency or easily liquidatable stuff, but regular 1-5 div bases and a fat 20+ div hit every now and then. thats what ritual always has been: get lucky or go f yourself. it was nice when you could run 2 other leagues next to it but with sextants being gone now idk if its still worth running either
The issue I have with this video is that Ritual may not be the best farming strat, but having your filter affect the window of items actually hurts you. I have made more currency off of items that my filter may have filtered out, due to various reasons. Not checking your filtered items is a huge mistake. Who knows how many items that may have been worth a div or 2, maybe more, that were because his filter said so..?
And, you counted all the loot of the maps I assume. So the drops you would get even without ritual are there, probably ritual by itself generated little more than the actual map. I think you should do a completly Alc&Go strat with Back to basics without scarabs, just map invesment, so you can use it as a base for comparision against "leagues". If you generate less than having NOTHING in maps, you shouldnt do that strat :P
I just do Rituals.. Ritual once gave me a +1 Power charge Ring. I sold it for 40 DIvines last league.. You might even geta Mirror or Headhunter or Mage blood in Ritual, You never know..

@@TheSwoon69 Yeah and the point is that full scarab on ritual is literally worthless. 5 rerolls isn't worth it and even just 1 vessel improves your pull on ritual immensely. He also basically never even checked 90%+ of what the money in ritual actually comes from.
the numbers are wrong to begin with, the scarab was 18 div at the moment of recording, exilence didn't pricecheck properly, neither did empy. You can see it when he drops it and checks, it says 8div there, but the ones listed are around 18div and the number just get pulled down cause of price fixers. But obviously still two big drops, but thats what ritual has always been, its not a consistent strat, its a bigger gamble than most strats
Maybe you should do it right, just filling vessels don’t even have to buy something from Ritual is 7div/h and you bought the wrong items fossils>chaos because of bulk selling and they Are cheaper and offering of the godest sells for 6c in bulk and only costs 500-600 tribute

also ivory bow is exact same as spine bow if u craft it into an ele bow, spine is only better if ur making a phys bow so GG i guess

The issue I have with this video is that Ritual may not be the best farming strat, but having your filter affect the window of items actually hurts you. I have made more currency off of items that my filter may have filtered out, due to various reasons. Not checking your filtered items is a huge mistake. Who knows how many items that may have been worth a div or 2, maybe more, that were because his filter said so..?
And, you counted all the loot of the maps I assume. So the drops you would get even without ritual are there, probably ritual by itself generated little more than the actual map.
I think you should do a completly Alc&Go strat with Back to basics without scarabs, just map invesment, so you can use it as a base for comparision against "leagues". If you generate less than having NOTHING in maps, you shouldnt do that strat :P
You can also use two times the scarab that gives you 2 reroll, if they didnt fix it already
it's not a bug since the Scarab says that it has a limit of 2, so you can use twice in one run

I just do Rituals.. Ritual once gave me a +1 Power charge Ring. I sold it for 40 DIvines last league.. You might even geta Mirror or Headhunter or Mage blood in Ritual, You never know..

@@TheSwoon69 Yeah and the point is that full scarab on ritual is literally worthless. 5 rerolls isn't worth it and even just 1 vessel improves your pull on ritual immensely. He also basically never even checked 90%+ of what the money in ritual actually comes from.
Gamba strat
On that run you have 2 big drops, the bow(17 div) and the scarab(8DIV). Soooo, those numbers would be even lower.
the numbers are wrong to begin with, the scarab was 18 div at the moment of recording, exilence didn't pricecheck properly, neither did empy. You can see it when he drops it and checks, it says 8div there, but the ones listed are around 18div and the number just get pulled down cause of price fixers. But obviously still two big drops, but thats what ritual has always been, its not a consistent strat, its a bigger gamble than most strats

Maybe you should do it right, just filling vessels don’t even have to buy something from Ritual is 7div/h and you bought the wrong items fossils>chaos because of bulk selling and they Are cheaper and offering of the godest sells for 6c in bulk and only costs 500-600 tribute
