I enjoyed watching your move vlogs. Brought back feelings of being new to Calgary and starting over, seeing it with fresh eyes. I moved here from Vancouver in 2017 and haven't looked back. Winters can feel long but the sunshine and ease of life makes all the difference. Welcome to Alberta! So much to explore here.
Love that you are aware and real with yourself and your intentions. Keeps expectations on both you and viewers in check. Many of your viewers I believe can relate and appreciate your time and space on social media. So enjoy your time with your family and we will pick up in your next video.
Balancing expectations can be tough! I’m glad it resonated with you. honest moments of reflection are important and I try my best to share what’s on my mind with yall 🫶
Your efforts are noted and appreciated. As you stop, pause, and nourish your spirit, you present yourself in excellence. Society's unrealistic expectations can lead us astray. Blessings as you continue on your life's journey. Have an amazing day ✨️ 🤗
Woohoo 🎉 great start to the weekend a new vlog ❤ I’ve also started running recently 🏃 it’s so enjoyable especially with the nice weather (not that the uk gets much sun ☀️) going to have to look into open run! They look very interesting! Hope you have a lovely time with your parents ❤
I might have to check those headphones out. I'm in the market for some better ones for running. Please keep us updated on how they work out for your runs. I've been running at a minimum once a week for about 2 years, about 3-4 miles avg each run, except on interval training days. Of course I didn't start there. Long story short, after I resolved some knee issues from my military years, I started at a slow pace for about 1-2 miles. I've made a ton of progress since then, longest run being about 8 miles. I've had ups and downs along my running journey but I can tell you every run counts, so keep up the consistency no matter what. Even if you have to mix in a micro short run just to check off the box on some days. And I would suggest to start telling yourself now that you can run a 5k. You may be surprised how that helps your training. From my perspective, long distance running is more mental than anything. Side note: A joke could be made about the song selection for the sound test, but I'll resist.. 😂🙏🏾✨🥝🏃
wow this is the motivational talk I needed, thank you 👏 its true how important it is to stay consistent! I’m mainly focused on getting the reps in right now, even if it’s a struggle or I have to walk a bit 😅 the 5K plan I’m on includes intervals so it’s been a good time! I look forward to sharing more 🫶 I highly recommend the headphones, it’s been great to feel more aware of surroundings especially cars/traffic or people passing around me! 🥝🍉✨
I started running this past spring as well so I’d be interested in your running journey. Funnily enough when I ran in Calgary (vs Toronto) while visiting my sister I had a harder time due to the altitude I think but when I returned home I was finally able to do a 5K! It’s like altitude training I guess. 🤣🤪. Also I bought open earphones and love them. Also, I noticed you got Hokas- which ones did you get? I have the Mach 6 and I love them but I’m also looking for another pair to alternate with.
that’s awesome, congrats on hitting 5K! I definitely plan to share more along my running journey 🥹 I’ve also heard the altitude makes a big difference hahah I ended up getting the Hoka Clifton 9s, I found they were the best fit in the wide option for my feet! they are my first and only pair of proper trainers but so far so good 🙏
@Celinelikedion Hello Celine🤗. You sure have been a busy bee and I am so glad that you are living life to the fullest👍. Like, you, I am all for scheduled programming in life. I could really relate to this video, in terms of finding time, balancing life and priorities.🤗 As you know, my life did change dramatically in April and it has been so hard to go through my long list of things to do.😔 The editing program with the AI is amazing...a very good use of AI indeed.👍 Your apartment is looking so nice🤩. I completely understand about the wants vs needs. I feel it is so okay to splurge and pamper oneself now and then. The chicken stir fry looked so delish.😀 I am like you, minimal and simple clothes work for me. And wow about the new head phones as I have not heard of them. As I am a runner, I will look into those earphones. I run up to 6km a day. I started off slow by running for 2 minutes and then doing fast /pace walking for 2 minutes until I could easily run. It did take me time to build up to it. And as I see it cleaning does burn calories, so don't feel bad about not having a chance to run. Cheers Lara🐨🦘
hi Lara! I’m glad to hear you can relate and hope you are finding routine and happiness these days 💖 remember to be gentle on yourself too. definitely recommend checking out the headphones for running, I find it too hard to hear my surroundings otherwise! I’d love to get to 6km one day soon, I’m currently doing intervals like you described and it’s been so fun to track the progress. Thanks for the thoughtful comment and see you next time 💜
I wanted more capabilities in a mirrorless camera and had a couple challenges like stability with the ZV1 - it’s still a great camera nonetheless! I talk more about my decision here ruclips.net/video/QVtRcAlkODQ/видео.html
feels good to be back to our regular content 🤭 podcast episodes to follow soon 🎧
I love the real talk at the end of this video! Content creation on top of a 9-5 and other responsibilities is so hard. Thanks for being so real 💛
glad it resonated with you 🥹 trying to balance everything can definitely be a lot sometimes, but remembering to give yourself grace is key!
Love this vlog as usual! And I hope you had a lovely time with your family!
