Appreciate you putting out some videos of doing this stuff that are practical. Definitely my kind of build. And you're right on that there really isn't much out there on putting these things in. Seems like Speedway could do some good things with you and your kind of video.
I love it! Thanks for the great feedback, and thanks for taking the time to watch my video. If @Speedway Motors wants to collaborate with me, it would be awesome!
Man thank you for making this video! I’ve been staring at my 31 pickup doors trying to figure out what the hell I was going to do. Now I have an attainable goal! Thanks man keep the vids coming!
Hi Joe , good for you folks . Great rear wheel tire combo . Happy for the doors ,super happy for the test drive !! Tomorrow is Thursday and the weather is supposed to be good ...I know what that means . I'm sure you had a great time on the 1st drive !
Looks like we're working on similar cars. Very cool and thanks for the video about the windshield. I see you have an old truck too! I started out working on a 49 Chevy pickup before buying a real beater of a 29 Ford Tudor. Love the new project and happy to share notes and adventures as we build.
When you get to the point of putting in the window are you going to make it were you can lock the car from the out side. ? My 30 Model A Fordor just has the door skins there are no door handles or glass or window regulators. I'm thinking for the regulators do it like they did on what I think was a Dodge race car just a strap hooked to the bottom of the window channel and a hook at the bottom of the door to use when you had the window up .
When I get to that point I'll probably upgrade to some new Model A door handles that have a lock inside them, so it'll only be able to be locked from the outside. For windows, I'll keep my eyes open for some regulators to use, though I've seen people use a leather strap with holes and a pin to raise/lower the window and hold it in place. Seems like it should work.
Amazon, I ordered them 3 years ago. I know i didn’t pay as much as they are advertised for now. Here’s a link: Patriot Exhaust H1145 3-1/2" Lakester Exhaust Header Turnout Kit , Black a.co/d/eNUYDp5

Haha! Thank you. Yep, My son loves getting involved with the videos- I’ll show him this comment!
It's hard to explain the feeling of the first ride, nice job!
You got that right! Thanks!
Nice , great way to keep your doors closed without the old car rattling .
Yes indeed! All I really needed was for the doors to stay closed... but I wanted to set it up to look really nice later.
Nice job , thanks for sharing .
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Enjoyed this vid... I have a few installs in my future.
Thanks! I’m playing a little catch-up with the channel now; Thanks for watching.
Sweet ride
Thanks!

Thank you! I am enjoying every bit of it.
Another approach is to put the latch in the B pillar and the post on the door. Works well if you don't mind the door release behind the door.
That is a good idea. Helps me keep from getting hung up in the post when getting in the car too.

Nice! That’s what it’s all about!
Thanks for the informative video, it's going to be a cool rod!
Thanks for watching. It is a fun project! Still a long way to go, but I put over 1,100 miles on it this summer without any issues.
Nice work! Great job on building that car!
Thanks!!
You're welcome
I got a really rare 66 dodge power wagon and couldn’t find any hinges anywhere so this is the next best step
Sounds like a fun project, let us know how it goes!

@@BadHombreGarage what latch kit did you use. I have a 31 I need to do. My doors have glass and channels. Thanks
@@edwardrosinski5639 I used part #Part # 91052862-KIT for the latches, and
Part # 91058268 for the door mount.

Do you have any pictures of how you installed the inner and outer handles/linkage?
Not yet; I haven’t installed them yet!
Where did you get the end 90s for those headers?

Sooo much work, lol. How many times did you test slam it, come on, fess up, hehehe.
I let it rip once!
You started showing the hinge , how to adjust it than left me hanging on how you accomplish that
I didn't mean to leave you hanging! Sorry about that. I had some poor footage that I edited out-- that probably included what you were looking for.
Just love that loud music so I turned it down and guess what I can't hear what you're saying o well
Ah, you didn’t miss much. Thanks for watching!
Put some giant tires on the back not those small ones
You are right! I put on some bigger cheater slicks- go check out some of my recent videos. Those were just rollers that I had on for moving it around.
you need some lights so we the viewers can see what you doing
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll work on better lighting.
