Did you think we evolved without our body not coming up with a solution for this issue ? lol it’s called hormones. They are a heck of a thing. It turn literally get our genders changed, gets you depressed, gets you euphoric, helps us bond, helps us sleep, gets us up in the morning, eases pain and gives you superhuman strength during a life and death situations.
But like everything else… there are cases where it fails….women develop PTSD, postpartum psychosis, depression and end up killing their child or themselves…. or the least worrisome of it all- they remember much of it and now don’t want a second. Honestly fair enough.
And women are planners. They just thought might as well just get it over and done with. Having two kids back to back and thats a job done for a lifetime.

Can childbirth really be as painful as a kick in the nuts? _I think not!_
    And here are my reasons.
1 - When a baby is born, the mother wants to have another kid. Maybe in a years time or so.
2 - When I've been kicked in the nuts, probably from when I was playing football. Even 40 years later, there is absolutely no way I'd ever want to be kicked in the nuts again. It's that painful. And I never got any maternity/paternity/nuternity(?) leave afterwards 8-))...

I get that it may very well be a joke, but just for those who unironically think a nut kick is worse, because that's just stupid, and there are a LOT of stupid people out there.

I love Romesh and I have a broad sense of humour but we don’t need more invalidation of women’s pain. I’ve had calf cramps that have scared me out of labour. Your sh*t does not even touch the sides and how dare you think it would.
As my mother (of 4!) says, “they don’t call it Labour for nothing!”
And as far as the afterbirth goes, that is life threatening. After she’s given you children. Maybe expand your imagination and empathy and honour her strength, power, and everything she’s gone through rather than normalising dismissing the female plight.
I’d love to see a male comedian that it’s so talented and insightful enough they can make the female perspective funny.
    Challenge Romesh.
And if you can’t do that, at least go home and worship your women for what she’s done.

When we go against our nature, it is often funny, if we choose to think about it without prejudice. We have the same recoil response to poo, and other issue from our bodies, and coincidentally, commentary about those products are found funny by many as well.

It is very painful and your body is never the same after you go through it - also you can have sex forced on you and you have to go through it all over again and be in pain and go through 9 months of insane lack of sleep, peeing, putting up with the movements of a child through this time and then push it out again in a short period of time. Drugs, epidural which could result in not being able to walk if you move during the epidural. It is very emotionally draining also. Something men don't realise.
