Making Valkyr BROKEN (Warframe)

- Valkyr is easily considered one of the worst Warframes in the game. She feels completely out of place and her once ridiculous damage has completely vanished out of the game.
Today things are about to change, after an invigoration I was able to think of something extremely unique on her that would make her talons insane. Proton Snap.
The Status chance from proton snap is additive, meaning her talons are now a hybrid, red crit heavy melee with the ability to do corrosive, viral and toxin all at the same time. No faction can survive this. You go against corpus? Toxin, You go against grineer? Corrosive Viral, You go against Infested? (i mean they just die so what)

I'm a Valkyr main, and I throw everything into her, like 5 Tauforged Violet Shards and Prime Flow. The damage is insane.
I have two builds: one to never run out of energy and stay in her fourth ability forever, and the second to utilize a different melee weapon. For the second build, I use Eclipse and Adaptation. With the insane base armor, your health just doesn't go down. I also want to get Kullervo for that nasty critical chance.
I want to try your build, so I'll need to start working on a new Valkyr because mine has a forma in every slot
Also, love your content, your videos are game changing for me, I learn in each one.

This is honestly so cool. Using new tools on an older, more obscure frame? Awesome. Plus youre using less common mods as part of your strategy, its just really creative. This is the point of playing warframe imo. Not running around invincible as revenant, being creative and unique in a game with so much variety and so many tools

Hi Moug, an interesting and informative video as usual! I wanted to ask you, do you think the Orvius is good for anything? It's one of the coolest looking weapons imo but I don't know how it compares to other melees.
It has a guaranteed cold proc and the ability to suspend enemies in the air which has a 60% status chance on top of that, overall it seems like a really decent primer since u can corrosive blast radiation cold and stun the enemy which also counts towards CO. I have never used the weapon but a guaranteed cold proc will definitely do wonders for this kind of usage
@@WispGraxx Oh damn, I use a primer hound but almost none of its damage types overlap with these, so it's gonna be status galore for my CO weapons. I'll be sure to give it a try. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

The thing is, after like 4 stealth buffs in the last 18 months she is completely ridiculous on damage and doesn't even need status on her talons. With the armor rework I have no doubt she will level cap with no armor strip just on raw damage given that I've already been to 5000 on Selkie taking literally 0 damage for the entire mission before enemy armor scaling started to slow things down. The only issue is that it's not the most engaging gameplay in the world, but if you want chill Survival farming there is literally no better frame because you do 30s of setup and after that nothing can touch you as long as you press 3 once every 20mins or so...
Also a Valkyr fan. Using Motus Signal for +200% double jump and Aero Vantage for -100% Gravity. It's a lot of fun. I recommend using a melee stat stick since it is actually a pseudo-exalted in the sense that set bonuses stack from equipped melee weapon. So you can throw Amar's Contempt, Saxum Thorax, Carnis Mandible, Motus Impact and Gladiators
On Talons I like Motus Impact with the Aero Vantage aim gliding setup for that extra 2m. and Disciple's Merit for consistent Tennokai.

Big Brain. It's not great, however it causes Breach Surge to bounce around. It doesn't nuke, but cleanup is easy. Now Thermal Sunder on Hydroid...

Honestly, Valkyr is criminally underrated. You can be invincible for as long as you have energy, you can replace paralysis with pillage for armor strip and shield strip. Arcane battery can increase valkyr's energy to Roughly ~842 plus arcane guardian will increase armor further. Rip line is actually really good for mobility. If you really want better energy economy, then use purple shards and diriga. You can basically keep hysteria up for as long as you want to keep it up. Plus red crits are actually easier to get, if you use the gladiator set. Plus tennokai on hysteria will make it work wonders. I end up with around 1 mil on most heavy attacks.
@DEADLY_SIGNAL True, there's also the new arcane, secondary fortifier, which gives you overguard. When you use hysteria after you get the overguard you essentially have permanent overguard so long as hysteria is up, which means you don't lose energy from enemies that drain it (like ancient disruptor etc.)

pretty sure Arachne doesnt apply to exalted weapons at all so there is no reason to use it regardless of actual stats

Why not use melee exposure for arcane instead of fortification you would take a dip in armor but you would also get more corrosive procs without having to be on the wall

Cuz proton snap adds a flat 50% status proc chance to the claws. What point is there in adding corrosive through melee exposure when the claws' base status chance is only 10%. Archon continuity already adds corrosive, too, so exposure is excessive.
Edit: I want to add that because archon continuity procs corrosive when you proc toxin, the claws wont have weighted status problems than if you were to use melee exposure because that adds corrosive element on your weapon.
She is good enough till match the null thing, the demolist with null ability and acolyte with null
Know it wouldn't be popular but kinda wish Enraged was basekit tbh. Definitely retooled so the crit buffs have some form of rampup to them, but the bursts of destructive power and invincibility seem way more fitting for a berserker-themed frame compared to the channel, especially when we have two other frames who channel their exalted melees in Excal and Baruuk. Would just need some buffs for her other abilities (namely 1 and 3) so they do *something* productive during that downtime lmao
I would argue her 3 augment should be part of her kit tbh no buffs really needed after that

It feels amazing to me but im a person that doesnt mind having to "setup" to do their damage. This build felt awesome to me the more i tried it and this is without any archon shards.
I hope DE at some point show valkyr some love by adding the augment of her 3rd in the base kit

Valkyr is great always has been. There are just frames now that do what she does but better. Long live valk
I always just laugh when people say she is one of the worst, i mean come on. Melee speed, grouping, invincibility if you want to go claw mode, and red crits if you subsume on wrathful advance.
Her main issue for me is the augment for her paralysis is still fucking bugged where it removes the effect on enemies if you cast it again, its been bugged like that since 2017 :))))))
She's great. I once force extracted as a three man team when on of them went afk by yanking him to extraction lol.
For real man. Makes no sense when people write off frames like that, "oh she's just a worse kullervo". If you extract alive and all the enemies are not, does it really matter? Keeping enjoying the game ❤
Personally I feel like it's that of her 4 isn't active she's barely a character, baruuk is similar but everything is based around using his 4. I feel it's less that she's based around her four and that it saves her. Granted this doesn't make her unpleasant or unplayable, but this phenomenon is more common in this game than it should be

Use precision intensity over umbral please.
My valkyr build is slightly different, narrow minded with blind rage, flow for the crit melee purple shards. Gladiator quick thinking mod, i forgotten what the precise one is called. Glad mod why? Its cos i can use a glad 'melee stat stick' with the glad mods. Since valkyr cant equip blood rush for some reason.
I use naramon, with dexterity arcanes and planto stay in my alt with norish and equilibrium. Not a fan of eternal war just recast warcry lmao. Valkitty one of the kitties of all time :3
You lose out on 77% ability strength on warcry and nourish tho for only a 13% additional ability strength for hysteria. That's kinda oof imo.
If you were to look at just the 3 umbral mods vs 2 umbral mods + precision intensify:
All umbral mods:
Warcry - 88% speed and armor buff
Nourish - 2.7x viral damage
Hysteria - 442 base dmg
With precision intensify:
Warcry - 50% speed and armor buff
Nourish - 1.5x viral dmg
Hysteria - 475 base dmg
So if you wanna attack slower and have less armor and do less elemental weapon dmg for slightly higher base Hysteria dmg, go with precision intensify xD
3 mods vs 1. Like huh, no way you comparing 3 mods vs one. Let me jus math out the umbral set vs umbral intensify, blind rage and transient fortitude. Also valk doesn't need armour and health if you can keep being invincible. Norish plus equilibrium makes this real easy

his is built around warcry and quick burst with the hysteria augment that's why he has umbral mods because his hysteria uptime isn't 100%. Yours is built around hysteria, so why the "please use precision intensify over umbral please"? It wouldn't work if that was the only thing he changed because it'd be worse.
That's why I was confused someone would suggest a 2 umbral + precision intensify build which is what I thought you were suggesting and corrected.

Seems like the exact same Valkyr gameplay everyone uses with extremely more unnecessary investments on mods! The only ''difference" is nourish which is one of the most generic things you can use.....For next warframe try a Nyx build
the character that is built for melee is meleeing but it deals 1000 times more damage than usual because u have to setup to gain it
