Nice car, i was thirteen in 1971 and my mother went to buy a new Dart and the dealer had a duster and a Demon in the showroom floor. the salesman gave me a Duster and demon promo decals they were cool. i wonted my mother to but the duster but it cost too much for her. good times
@@richreicher2679 I appreciate muscle cars more now a days when there still all in stock trim, because back in the 70's my cars didn't stay that way very long, if the owner doesn't want top drive it much, that's that my concern.
It’s beautiful! Although the High Impact colours were all the rage and I certainly saw lots of them, I can say the Vitamin C was uncommon, at least it was in my city. My mom bought a Bright Yellow 340 new, and I bought a Lime Lite 340 a few years old, I had a 340 Swinger prior to that. If you want your car to be really original, I’m afraid the exhaust tips will have to go, 70’s Dusters all had turndowns, I believe the 71’s got tips.
If you do find the manifolds, you may as well have some fun and remove the mufflers before you remove those headers. The pipes still wrap around the back axle, I'm sure that'll quieten it down enough. (always wanted to do that)
Absolutely Beautiful example of the 1970 Duster 340. The only thing I would do is swap out the "Plymouth" emblem on the right rear tail panel for the smaller script one!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and some original Goodyear Polyglas white letter tires.

You have to love it when there all factory stock, great job preserving it.
Why collect a car you are afraid to drive? It just becomes a worthless yard ornament then. To each his own...

My L79 had these 340's as a snack
My favorite of all the Gause A body's past or present!
This is the nicest Duster I've ever seen
