Both videos of the Tornado Intercept Vehicles or TIV 2 at Cummins for upgrades in early 2012 blended. I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE VIDEOS. These videos belong to CumminsEngines
Go Team Tiv. Your show is awsome, entertaining and moving. My family even sent a donation to a tornado fund from 'down under'. Cheers and keep ur heads down
Wish I could contact the the chasers - if they're eventually looking to build one more or modify the armor, there's something they could do to reduce the pushing force of "weighted air" they haven't done yet.
1:26 so is a tornado added to the side of the vehicle each time it intercepts one? What’s the difference between the red ones and the black ones? Could someone please explain? Thanks
For the kind of driving he'll be doing, the factory setup will actually provide more protection against rocks, debris, rain soaking the filter, etc... However, most vehicles now and days you can get a factory sized drop-in direct fit filters from aftermarket companies, while still getting the protection aforementioned above.
It's not the Cummins' fault it broke, it's the junk Dodge platform it was built upon. The new Ford Super Duty TVN Intercept vehicle is a better platform. Dana > AAM axles.

Hell gotta love the sound of a diesel altogether.

That Cummins absolutely has no dpf on it. They said "back to stock" but that was only for the camera. The exhaust note is a dead giveaway.
I LOVE THE TIV2!!!!!!😎🤑💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💗💗💗💗💗💗
TROLOLOLOLOLOLOL BOOPER DOOPER when you see a jackseptic eye reference🙃
Lol, any of you guys herd of Australia storm chasing? It's really fun, mostly up north and in Queens land.
Cummins 6.7 is the most dependable with dpf delete but have seen axels blown because they low on oil
" I got the dodge because of reliability" next scene " we had to repair everything...
Dodge rocks TIV 2 is amazing

Anyone seen a full Ep. With the TIV2?? If so please tell me.
I think you have more protection than the militaries h2
What tires does the tiv have?
You need to put some half- tracks on the rearend { No getting stuck!}
Cummins is the best in the business.
Why back to stock?

I black tornadoes are the numbers they've seen while the red ones the number of tornadoes they had intercept8
If you watched the episodes in season 2 they broke the rear axle...
The tiv 2 is like titus
screw that, send it to Diesel Sellerz. they'll fix that engine up perfectly.
Lmao yes
Does Sean Casey still chase?
No, the tiv 2 has been sell to ryan, you can find it by taping "storm of passion"
Has a tank because just in case.
Im building a Intercept vehicle kinda like your's but more like reed's, but unlike him, i will tell people i got the idea from you.
Did you go through with it?
@@jmstudios457 He did, just not with a Chevy like he originally wanted to. He wanted a Duramax Allison at first.
Why would you put it back to stock??? He doesn't want it to run like a dog
How should I know why he wanted it put back to stock
idk who cares though at least it was fixed

Can I buy a tiv ?
SHROOD no there’s one TIV and one TIV2
Nope I like TVN cuz they use chevy and ford but I still think that yours is the coolest thing ever just use a different make
Typical Cummins, had to completely rebuild the front axle. :-)
shawnsutube Well not every Cummins is built on a 5 ton vehicle.
Where the hell is the original TIV?
last i heard it was put on display somewhere. it used to be stored in Derby Kansas i think
Old and rusty, never to be used again I suppose.
probably not

Gonna have to agree if I'm going into a tornado I'm not using a dodge anything. Ford all the way
