I like the idea of having your favourite and most used weapons easily on display to buy fast, but I think there should be a some way to buy other weapons as well. The economy of CS is really important aspect of the game and the idea that you can't buy an awp to your awper just bEcAUsE iT's nOT iN loADOuT is really bad. It would be waaaay better if there was a separate menu behind an extra button click where you can buy all the other weapons as well, if needed
I don't like that change, it's cool you can have both m4, but 5 slots for heavy and smg is too small. They should add more slots or separate heavy and smg.
Just revert this change. It doesn't take away anything from players, but valve's loadouts do. This is valve's step to make balancing weapons easier, but it takes a lot of freedom from players.

The only good change I see in this is that newer players will understand the menu a lttle faster and the refund mechanic can save your teams economy, BUT the refund mechanic could easily be added in the circle menu, same with having both M4A4 and M4A1-S equipped, and the players who've mastered the circle menu will now be much slower. The gun selection is also way more restrictive, so if you want the person with the most amount of money to drop you that MP9 or MAG-7, you may not be able to get it... I hope they atleast can give players a choice to choose between the circle menu and this. Shouldn't be that hard to implement..
The vents being able to shoot through the holes is a big change I think it is gonna be a very good thing to keep them there now as it can provide a little bit of cover possibly
Not only cover but keeping them there for as long as possible is also a good way of knowing when someone is possibly going through because you'll hear it break. Obviously if a nade for example is found that explodes that it doesn't have this effect but might still be useful sometimes.
I really hope they revert the loadout thing. Not only does it discourage fun and creativity in games from when your team goes "ok full negev go" but the classic buy menu is also gone despite it being one of the most satisfying things to master clicking

On Mirage, there is a small change regarding the structure of the course. Now on site B, if you look at the front of Apartament from the terrace of Apartament, you will not see the Tunnel stairs!! It's not a huge change, but it will definitely have an impact in some situations.
I want to point out the risk that the loadouts can bring to the gun prizes, because Im pretty sure that people is going to use the same loadout, making other guns go down in prize (ofc talking about steam market and real money)

Nova outclasses Mag in Deathmatches due to the amount of shooting that happens and the fact that you almost always deal with 2 or more enemies in a span of 7 seconds or so (Plus I am bad at aiming so for me, Nova is a superior choice than mag just because of the reload feature cause I burn through bullets)
About the zeus skin "leak": These files have been around forever. You can basically already create a skin for everything with the current tools. The bigger hint is the inspect.

The Loadout System is pretty game limiting and should be removed. The normal system of buying guns at the start of the match was by virtually perfect. I don't know how the game is improved by virtually limiting the amount of choices that someone has 💀.
5 weapons per tier I am not sure about that sure you can have some interesting dynamics throughout the match but in general I enjoyed the ability to buy every gun during the match.
Sometimes I feel like playing the bizon just for fun. But that won't be happening anymore because I will not put that thing in my load out. Same for M249 and auto sniper if. You can no longer troll your enemies with stupid ass weapons. This load out thing is shit.
Back in the day, CS1.6 days to be exactly, people only used deagle/ak/m4/awp. Of course, things are different in CSGO but at the end, everyone will adapt to said change.

A new T rifle would be really interesting, maybe T could get an ASVAL as a counterpart to the m4A1S, 20 round mags and silenced. In real life it fires like 900 RPM so maybe ingame it could be limited to semi auto or just have a lower rate of fire, maybe doing 95 to the head and have slightly higher recoil than the m4a1 to compensate for higher rate of fire
I like the weapons change. It’s nice being able to take R8 and Deagle, and also both M4s. I hardly use most of the guns in this game so getting rid of the mostly filler guns is very nice.

I think I enjoy the new smokes though that was a good touch, they nerfed how much the bullets help you see through it and the smoke will come back after being blown away by nade now. I love everytjing about it i love how bright everything is because its not as boring and it dosent make me kinda tired because of the bright colours and the loudout system is very interesting and fun there are so many things you can do with it and so many new strats will appear over time with insane loudouts and also the refound system is very much needed just cause we all know that one guy who buys as much as he can every round
The thing valve really needs to worry about is how this will run on low end machines. And im starting to get worried that they haven't properly taken that into account.
Its not some call of duty or battlefield game that you have to worry about fps, if your system cant run cs2 even at decent fps then its time for you to upgrade the system

Bro, the vents actually being the shape of the the vent and not the entire space is HUGE. The amount of times as an awper, I shoot a guy that peeks me ladder and hit him for 98 through vent, even though I CLEARLY didn’t actually shoot the metal, has been COUNTLESS. No matter how many times it happens to me, my brain still can’t process that shooting his body through the vent won’t matter. Little things like this are just SO SO SO nice.
The big problem with the limited guns are that the guns i would use rarely in specific buys just never get used and basically gun that are used less will not no be used at all (I would use all CT rifles in a game, but now i have to pick between a scout or famas) which make my ability to switch up my play alot harder.
I REALLY hope that the zeus skins will be like the knifes, cus it just adds that tad more value an meme ability to a taser with the same rarity as a knife.
I'm like you: IDK why they included the loadout feature at all. What we really wanted was the refund feature which is fantastic and I don't mind the valorant style menu but the limitation of guns before the match starts is a bit weird to me. I see that really hindering the ability of people to "have fun" in games with friends as well as devaluing skins of guns that aren't used and considered "meta".
I think all of you in the comments are really overthinking it 15 guns is not as big of a limitation as some people are making it out to be. 95% of peoples loadouts will look like:
Pistols: (Glock, P250, Dualies, Tec-9/Five-Seven, Deagle) Mid Tier: (Mac-10/MP9, P90, Nova, XM1014, Sawed-Off/Mag-7) Rifles T: (Galil, Ak-47, SG553, Scout, AWP) Rifles CT: (M4A4/FAMAS, M4A1-S, SCOUT, AUG, AWP) The guns that are excluded are: P2000, CZ75, Revolver, PP Bizon, MP5/MP7, UMP-45, Negev, M249, SCAR-20/G3SG1 (All either dogshit or BM Weapons) If you are telling me that you plan on using any of these guns other than the MP7 and you are not planning on trolling you are a silver....

the 5 weapons per tier thing really kind of feels very lazy by valve if im going to be honest, instead of being able to balance and change every gun to be able to make every gun good in different situations they took the easy way out by pretty much everyone going for the same 15 weapons and only having to balance the meta weapons instead of the obvious no picks, i like the idea in concept but really it just feels like an unnecessary change to uphold the meta

Bro, the vents actually being the shape of the the vent and not the entire space is HUGE. The amount of times as an awper, I shoot a guy that peeks me ladder and hit him for 98 through vent, even though I CLEARLY didn’t actually shoot the metal, has been COUNTLESS. No matter how many times it happens to me, my brain still can’t process that shooting his body through the vent won’t matter. Little things like this are just SO SO SO nice.

The big problem with the limited guns are that the guns i would use rarely in specific buys just never get used and basically gun that are used less will not no be used at all (I would use all CT rifles in a game, but now i have to pick between a scout or famas) which make my ability to switch up my play alot harder.
I REALLY hope that the zeus skins will be like the knifes, cus it just adds that tad more value an meme ability to a taser with the same rarity as a knife.

I'm like you: IDK why they included the loadout feature at all. What we really wanted was the refund feature which is fantastic and I don't mind the valorant style menu but the limitation of guns before the match starts is a bit weird to me. I see that really hindering the ability of people to "have fun" in games with friends as well as devaluing skins of guns that aren't used and considered "meta".
I think all of you in the comments are really overthinking it 15 guns is not as big of a limitation as some people are making it out to be. 95% of peoples loadouts will look like:
Pistols: (Glock, P250, Dualies, Tec-9/Five-Seven, Deagle)
Mid Tier: (Mac-10/MP9, P90, Nova, XM1014, Sawed-Off/Mag-7)
Rifles T: (Galil, Ak-47, SG553, Scout, AWP)
Rifles CT: (M4A4/FAMAS, M4A1-S, SCOUT, AUG, AWP)
The guns that are excluded are: P2000, CZ75, Revolver, PP Bizon, MP5/MP7, UMP-45, Negev, M249, SCAR-20/G3SG1 (All either dogshit or BM Weapons)
If you are telling me that you plan on using any of these guns other than the MP7 and you are not planning on trolling you are a silver....

tbh i see what theyre doing with the buy menu, its to not overwhelm casuals who are just starting the game with so many options that can effect everyones competitive game and allow all the weapons to be used by that i mean both cz and tech or 5-7 and m4’s snd deagle and revolver i like it a lot and allows new players to practice more with specific weapons when playing
