Its for their accounting. If multiple makers, a % split value. Nothing for them to do except add item to game and link it to the account with item database entry. Easy peasy ! fully automated can't ever have a problem. These cases honestly feel like how the first CS cases felt to unbox. Most skins are good enough, you rarely get something insanely good and when you do, it's not thousands of euros and it actually incentivizes people to open them and not keep them in inventories to collect dust. IMO, this is how Valve should implement cases moving forward so people will actually stop buying them as "investments"
