It wouldn't be hard to make cohesive, with original artist help. Just may take longer than any production company would want. But that would depend on S1 response...
I say give it to JJ. He re-invented Star Wars for a modern audience mostly alright (while keeping it kinda-sorta loyal), and Fringe was amazing. I bet he could take on a Coheed series (but, each movie has to be limited to the album, no compressing shit, and MOSTLY Claudio has to be kept close to keep the direction within his vision of the story, not matter who directs.)

Well all that is needed is a decent cast, I would say he would cast band members as parts, and then... got the music sorted, don't need to worry about that. so it would be more about the CGI department, and obviously a good director/writer, though I guess Claudio will do most of it, but if he was to play a part, he probably would get a more experienced director, and he would just help the director with his vision. Probably better off being a Producer usually.

The unique vocals Claudio uses from the very start of this track makes the hairs on my back stand up. The is track is so different to any of their other songs and I love it for that and Josh’s drumming is huge! Do these guys ever release a bad song? I mean, with most bands, you are lucky to get 5-6 solid songs off an album. These guys deliver solid album after solid album. Its quite remarkable actually. For sure a top 5 favorite band of mine.

In a world full of shitty unmeaningful and one cloned song after another its goooood to know that these heavenly creatures are still around to put out the best music ever.
I saw them in Tulsa just a few weeks after the Unheavenly Creatures album came out. EVERYONE in the audience sang along at the top of their lungs. It was awesome!
I was driving back home from the beach. Had about 3 hours to burn and I decided to listen to coheed for the first time ever. I know I’m late in the game but I’m hooked !!!! Awesome band

They are officially in their prime of music creation. Ascension and decension were instant classics. I hope this just builds off of what they have already accomplished
They were already in prime since 2009. This was just the culmuniation of their experience & creativity. And it was great, they delivered once again.

Been a Coheed fan for years and they have never once disappointed me with a song. Glad to see they can be consistently badass, clever, and emotional with their music over the years.
Every time I hear a Coheed song for the first time I love it when the chorus comes on because I think, "in a few weeks or months I'll be singing my heart out to this like I always knew what it said."

I like it. I really feel what they are going for here. The look and makeup work all feel like an old sci-fi film. The music certainly gives the exact feeling setting up our first look at these characters. This is such a big story and I can feel the character building Which is one of my favorite things about stories. While some see it as boring, I am just excited and looking forward to more characters and songs building their stories.

What can I say that hasnt been said before. Coheed is by far one of the best bands that exist. This music video is great. I love the sci-fi crazyness that Coheed brings to the Table. I love the music, I love the story behind the story. This band is my favorite because it gives me feels that I haven't found with any other band. It helps me feel emotions and show them to people. Coheed like literally has a song for every situation. And I just told a friend who never heard of these guys before. She was feeling sad and shes like "there really is a song for everything." Needless to say I was surprised. I love these guys. Coheed is the only band that I pretty much listen to everyday. I have their albums on repeat and I just feel no other true joy than I do with these guys. There is no other like you.
Amazing how did I just find out that they have new stuff out! That angelic voice and awesome lyrics. So much feeling in the music 10 stars as always!

Listening since 2007. I'm gonna be a dad very soon, I can't wait to introduce my son to Coheed. This band has been with me in the most important stages of my life.
It's like they just went back to the end of no world for tomorrow, picked it up, and ran with it. Too good.
To me this is the perfect song for starting to move on right after a breakup. Setting the lyrics aside for a moment, the music alone has this perfect feeling of like, the end of one journey and the start of another. And the track's place on the album is appropriate to that end as well. Even though it's the second song following the prologue (almost all Coheed albums make up a unified narrative story), it's really the true opener of this album's story, taking place after the Amory Wars saga, where we are introduced to our characters, which are the real hearts of the story. The Dark Sentencer introduces the setting. The intro reminds me of the beginning of a SNES RPG like the early Final Fantasy games. Going back to the breakup stuff as potentially applied to the real life of the listener, the lyrics talk about the end of something which acts as a call to adventure (the beginning of any hero's journey). God I love Coheed.
I mean, sort of. It’s a bit sadder than just the end of an adventure. The end of a certain way of looking. At the world, at her, at yourself.

There's a definite 80's feel to the song. Maybe the production value is supposed to have an 80's sci-fi feel too? Think about when these guys grew up and what influenced them. People need to chill about the effects I think its super charming.

It's no where near as good as cheesy 80s sci-fi b-movie feel. Go back and watch some 80s sci-fi like Escape from New York. This is more like 2010s everyone has a DSLR and is a filmmaker, really bad student film feeling to it. It's awful. If the band wanted cheesy 80s sci-fi, the filmmakers failed them big time.

Especially with the line "Oh pretty angel swinging from your cable". idk I may be overthinking that but I dont think so -- idk.
I don’t want to be super negative about it. I like the video overall. While the video for Here We Are Juggernaut certainly has some more in depth effects and polish to it, it definitely doesn’t show us an example of them having access to someone proficient in SFX makeup. I can’t think of a video from them that really does. Why then would we assume that it’s a choice here? They bought a cheap prosthetic and applied it poorly.
