Can you explain more about the marbles in the transmission sound Mine makes that noise when I release the clutch More noticeable when the trans is cold I’m about to change the fluid out for pennzoil synchromesh oil
These transmissions are noisy. Most likely your throw out bearing is getting worn, but no reason to worry about it. I just had mine replaced and it drastically reduced the noise, but it’s still there.
On these transmission it is. I even just had a new clutch put in with new throw out bearing and it still sounds like that. Always has. It’s a TJ thing.
not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you're bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend recently =)
Pro tip: if you accidentally pull your drain plug first then find out your fill hole is seized up you can correct this by flipping the entire jeep upside down and refilling through the drain hole🙃
2000 TJ's were the first with NV3550.
Royal Purple Synchromax works well. Had it in for 12 years plus in my 2004 TJ
Going to get that 🎉
Using it today in my TJ ❤
Thank you my brother. I have the identical Jeep as yours. Happy to see it has a drain plug lol 😆. Going to use synthetic oil. ❤
excellent video! thanks for posting!

It's the noisy throwout bearing. Typical for the NV3550 transmission.
@@_everydayoffroad_ mine seems to have gone away after changing the fluid
No mention of socket size
17mm hex
😂
So that weird sound that sounds like marbles rolling around when I let out the clutch in neutral is normal?
