People who are saying he just recites quotes(nothing wrong with that) probably has just seen his shorts. Reciting quotes is just one small part of what Chris does. After stating the quote, he really analyzes it, gives his take, invites other people to give their opinion, all of which gives us a nuanced understanding. This is something we wouldn't easily get through the internet because most of the stuff out there is generic. One must dive deep (read books, blogs) to get nuanced takes and insights all of which will consume our time and energy but we don't have to because he does it for us. People also think his podcast is just repeating the same stuff that's out there and while a significant amount of his insights we already know, he adds more value and nuance to it by making new connections and getting successful people to comment on those as well. Personally for me, his nuanced explanations have really helped me. It has validated some of my experiences and taught me to think in new ways.

You have thoughts if pride is right or wrong because in english there is one word for two meanings. In polish we have two different words. "Pycha" and "duma" both relate to pride, but they differ in connotation: Pycha (hubris or arrogance) refers to an excessive, inflated sense of self-worth, often leading to a lack of humility and disregard for others. Duma (pride) generally has a positive connotation, signifying a healthy sense of self-respect, confidence, or satisfaction in one’s achievements or identity, without the negative implications of arrogance.

Don’t conflate pride with self-respect, which gives a person that self confidence and delight with oneself, which Goggins spoke about. The pride of the 7 deadly sins is something else. When one believes themselves to be someone they are not they often don’t work as hard as they should, as they feel they are owed something, and it does usually lead to a fall.

Chris is an male feminist. He tells everyone, especially women, what they want to hear. Sure, he has some interesting guests, but when he speaks, he does so in half truths. Similar model to someone like Matthew Hussey, he lives entirely for his fan base and their clicks and dollars. I’ve listened to a lot of his content and the the wisest thing I might have heard him say is “choose your regrets”
Nice video except last part. Jordan is not what it was, BUT, the truth is sometimes we need to “do what the priest is preaching not what is he doing”
Exakt.
