Another interesting thing you can do - since Betaflight has the ability to add aux channels to the OSD (it's something I submitted a few versions ago and they finally implemented it), you can take any of those sensors and put them up on your OSD. So, for example you wanted your radio power up in the OSD, you can do that. Also, you can do math with the mixer, so if you wanted to know how many km left you can go on your battery (km travelled divided by Batt mAh minus mAh used to get km/mAh, then multiply that out to get how many km left based on current efficiency), you could put that up in you OSD as well.

I have a lot of different models: planes, helicopters, quadrs. The problem is to remember the switch settings for each of them. Can I somehow put a fullscreen widget with an image? I could draw all settings on it.
@@JoshuaBardwell I thought about it, but resolution of model image is much lower, than screen resolution. And, of course, I like to see a nice model image, when I select the model in menu.
Recently got a TX16S and I agree with you, so many switches and positions I'm having a hard time remembering what I set them to do for just one KWAD right now. Having a widget or something on that nice big color screen to indicate the switches function and current state would really help a lot IMHO. Using screen display area to show stick positions or stuff I'm not going to be looking at while flying is moot and ridiculous, but being able to remind myself with a quick check glance at screen I could use.
I don't get the Telemetry option in the sidebar when I first go to Setup widget. What could I be missing? Do I need to have a quadcopter connected when I do the setup?
Another great vid. I wanted to see if you think it's feasable to create a mod to where I can use the TX16s as a bench display when I'm testing etc... would it be possible to use the port in the back to piggy back an VTX antenna and use the screen while on the bench?
I have looked into this, and the way the screen is driven, you would need a whole separate adapter board to input an analog signal from a vRX module. The screen doesn't have any built in analog input.
Hi Joshua, can the radiomaster screen be used to preview FPV footage? Would come in handy if you're not quite ready to put on a whole head gear.. I know you can mount an fpv monitor to it, but it would be awesome to use the internal display, and switch it between camera view and the LUA artificial horizon view when flying a plane, for example.
Put the Outputs widget on my TX16, but all my outputs for the quad are showing 98%. All my endpoints are correct. The only thing I have changed is upgraded to the AG01 gimbals. I’ve recalibrated the sticks but still shows 98%.
Thank you for this fantastic video. I do have a question though. In a previous video you mentioned that those AG01 gimbals don't work well with the LED rings and I see you still have them on in this video. Are you still running lights or did you remove them?
