- Here's how you can use a Tempo Track to gradually, or suddenly, automate a track's tempo over time.

The sounds I record are getting longer or shorter. it doesn't affect all of them. what can i do for him
Very helpful 👍
Happy to help!
I can’t seem to find the “add tempo track” in my Cubase elements 13. Is it the wrong version maybe?
THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!
Happy to help!

Liam, I recorded some tracks on Cubase 6 (32 Bit System) couple of years back. Since then I have updated to Windows 64bit and Cubase 10.5. When I open the old Projects in 10.5 they sound like my gran dying. Really slow and werid. How can I work this out and listen to them in 10.5? Or do I have to Re-install Cubase 6 and use that version? Pete
Hey Pete, interesting question!
Yes, my first guess would be to reinstall Cubase 6 and see if you have the same issue.
Could also be a sound card issue - have you got up to date drivers?
@@LTGuitarist Hey Liam, the sound card issue you speak of is very possible, I have to on occasion do the Troubleshoot process to clear the sound card of "crackle" or distorted noise (But onle for RUclips on Firefox strangely enough) so I have been thinking of buying a completely new Card (I still use a Fridge PC)
I will try to Update the driver and see what happens and then see if theres any change, otherwise perhaps a new one? Or re install C6...Pete
thx but why is it when i do that, i have to make many small points instead of clicking one place and then another to make it smooth/linear/slow?
figured it out, had to change from step to ramp inside tempo track :-)
Hey mate, yes, good working-out! I find it odd that that's the default, I almost always use a ramp!
@@LTGuitaristright?? and i’ve been wondering for ages but its so hard to know what to google - they could have called it linear instead of ?ramp??? lol
Does this work in Elaments or is this only for Artist and Pro?
Hi, I believe you can add a tempo track in Cubase Elements, yes
@@LTGuitarist actually I don't have it in my elements :(
P.S. it is there, just needs another approach: Project -> Tempo Track. Or Ctrl + T.
The tempo of drums, bass guitar, vocals and piano does not change. only the tempo of my electric guitar changes. From where ?
Hi Umut!
Ideally you do this *before* recording audio. MIDI and Instrument tracks can adapt but audio can't. There are options for warping audio with Cubase but you might be better off re-recording.
not working for me in cubase 13
Which version are you using?
@@LTGuitarist the cheap one, I figured it out and got my stuff working. Idk what it’s called but it’s the cubase 13 for 100$ ish version
