    I have had my Sisterlocks for 17 months and my consultant tells me not to condition my locks yet. I think all things are individual to each of us. So we should follow the advice given by our consultants

    Agreed, less manipulation is best!
    I'm actually over a year now & haven't tried conditioner yet, I may need to look into it

      Yes definitely, especially in the beginning! And really if you’re pretty much past the slippage stage I think the conditioner helps especially with the scalp brought mine back to life I feel lol

    Lol I pretty much left my hair alone for like the first month and now I am always in my scalp! I think it’s because I’ve been fluffing out my Bantu knot out over the weeks 😂. Second retie next week before baby so I might go back to a twist out post retie to leave my hair alone lol.

      Lol yes me too! I didn’t feel it was much styling I could achieve anyways. I have tried Bantu knots or twists out yet 🤔 . Which one do you like better? It can be hard to leave it alone fr lol but omg will baby be here soon?

    VERY Pretty hair...drink a lot of water daily. I've not put anything on my hair and I have no itchiness or dandruff.. I do not put oil and at 4 months my some are beginning to lock...I think its different for each person..my hair looks and feels clean..I shampoo only before retie..but

    How do u keep your locs neat and not nappy

    • @allthat_jass
      @allthat_jass  2 года назад +1

      I think mostly making sure I keep them in my satin bonnet to maintain the neatness of them, if I'm in the house I don't really have them out often. And 98% of the time that I'm going to sleep whether that's a nap or for the night that bonnet is going to be on lol
