And for example Amagi 410mm shells weights 1000kg each. It's crazy fast reload

Dollar is the only content creator I've seen make naval look enjoyable and I feel like that says a lot about his ability to make fun vids/challenges. Love the hard work Dollar!

The Amagi was a sistership to the Akagi. However, both were intended to be converted to aircraft carriers after signing the Washington Naval Treaty. The Amagi hull was severely damaged in the 1923 earthquake and was scrapped. The Akagi was converted and served with distinction until her loss at Midway in 1942.

The battlecruiser Amagi was never finish because of an earthquake heavily damaged her hull when she was under construction, so she went to scrap.
However since she got scrap, the name Amagi was later given to the new Unryu aircraft carrier class.
Otherwise that's her sistership Akagi who got directly convert into a carrier.

I really believe that when they add Sovetsky Soyuz, along with Bismark and Yamato, naval will attract more players...it will also be a great addition to War Thunder in general...

@@idrivetopoland Zao is better in almost every aspect. Yodo is horrible. It can’t pen like Zao do. Her DPM is worse than Zao in general. Despite having more HP Zao is more stealthier and much better work as Torpedo Cruiser than Yodo does. Yodo is trying to be that Torpedo Cruiser than a Light Cruisers. Which is weird considering that you can just play Kitakami or Shimakaze, where those two are better using at Torps. High Alpha can just go with Yamato. If you want both just use Zao. Zao can Stealth Torps thanks to 9km concealment.
mr. dollar. amagi history is sliightly diffrent than you may depicted it. (but no problem thats why yt comment section exists)
battlecruiser amagi was being built during the great kanto earthquake and was not worth the salvage of damage. so they scrapped it and reused parts of her to fit Kaga into a carrier.
the picture you showed of CV amagi were from a later new class called Unryuu class carriers. (they were similar to hiryuu and soryuu in design)

Woah. I’ve been waiting for War Thunder or World of Warships to add USS Tennessee for a long time. It’s where I’m from, and she survived pearl to go on the hunt in the first months after the attack. She may not be an Iowa class, but she gets the job done. If “it ain’t much but, it’s honest work” was a ship.
Correction: she didn’t go on the hunt, she was repaired and used as water artillery for the island campaigns. She made holes for the marines to hide in. :)
From TN as well, I loved reading about the Tennessee and what she did in the Pacific. She's in World of Warships Legends (console version), and I can't wait to hopefully see more BBs for the US, kinda feels weird they skipped the New Mexico tho, considering TN is the ship class after but 🤷♂️.
Well, we have enent New Mexico class, and this is basically the same thing. But there's 2 more ships of the class, so hopefully we'll get one in the tech tree at some point @His094
@DOLLARplays hopefully, the more for Naval, the better imo, tbh, they need to make some maps for these bigger BBs like you mentioned in the video, there's no way something like a Yamato, Bismark or Iowa can effectively use these smaller maps if they were implemented, but that's probably years from now.

22:05 I like how when you knew rounds were coming in you turned the camera to see them impact yourself. You don't get the tank round penetration view like in Ground RB so you don't get a good view of the impact.

Amagi wasn’t actually properly converted. During the process the dry dock she was in was hit by an earthquake, causing extensive hull damage. Japan decided it’d be best to use the materials and Amagi remaining hull for other ships, so she was stripped and broken down to assist in construction of Akagi and Kaga. This is also why some call Akagi and Kaga sisters, as Kaga has a bunch of materials from Amagi

it is not the "circle of death" it is the "Circle Jerk" teams lose tickets when more enemy inside circle. Drives me crazy when my team is killing enemy but not inside the circle. Even worse when they are outside and missing. This is actually one of the best maps for battleships. Your a great shot. I don't think that 2k distance is protecting you but you are not counting toward the cap. At 10km or farther there is no angle. Since enemy rounds are not hitting your belt they hit your deck. You might notice you never ammo rack enemy through the belt it is always deck hits.
I hate the maps that spawn you right on the edge. There are several where you are off map but enemy are right there beyond you who should also be off map (I have did you angle on all my ships)
I was also disappointed when they removed the coastal batteries. It was a way to get ground kills in naval.
Besides your fantastic ground videos you are by far the best at naval videos
historical correction Amagi was to be converted into an aircraft carrier but due to the earthquake in 1923 the hull was beyond repair and eventually parts from Amagi were used to convert Kaga into an aircraft carrier (Akagi the sister ship was converted into an aircraft carrier)

They are probably rushing out all the inter-war ships before the "modern" battleships drop, then there will probably be massive BR changes.
ww2 Era BB's will be more or less immune to planes (since you can't send hundreds of planes in a WT game against one BB) yet I can feel Gajin being up to some tricks. Such as extremely cheap airspawns on maps with a carrier.
At the very least I expect Soviet cold war missile ships to drop along with the ww2 BB's, not sure what a massive HE missile is supposed to do to a BB, but in war thunder land big enough explosions just get insta kill zones.
If you want proper battleships for the japanese (considering we have amagi) that is around the same time period, IJN Kaga pre-carrier works (IJN Akagi was in the same class as IJN Amagi, but because Amagi got struck by an EQ and was too heavily damaged, Kaga will do in becoming a "sister" ship to Akagi)

Amagi was scrapped after she was hit by an earthquake during construction and the hull was so stressed because of it that it was financially unfeasible to repair and continue work on ship
