    So mr. engineer, if the ground tank is full, won't it over flow as the elevated tank is getting filled?

      Thanks for the comment, sir.., it won't overflow because both float switches works intermediately..keep following for more, le me know if you are satisfied with the answer

    What about if both tanks are piped connected? It means if the elevated tank is empty, the pump don't switch on, when then ower tank is empty that is the time the pump switches on. When the lower tank is full it does not swith off the pump, but when the elevated tank is full then the pump switches off.

      It depends on which tank you choose to insert your float switch., always the top one will be controlling
