Temu and wish apparently use same mfrs. On some items, their line,lures,and fishing assrys. I get from wish are pretty good quality,nothing has broken or failed yet. A knife I got holds an edge better than a kabar I had after 3yrs.
I surf fish with one of those setups. It works and it is cheap and works great! I pull in snook and some big fish with it.

Why didn't you look a little more before buying? You would have gotten the rod and a better reel for half the price you paid.
To correct the uneven filling of the reel, just remove the washers under the spool.
The rod is good, I have caught 7-pound fish and the rod holds up, the only bad thing is that the rod is very soft.

@@TheFishinMagician20 i feel like temu is just inconsistent with some stuff the reel I used is a penn clone and it’s not bad. It doesn’t reel like my Abu’s and better stuff, but it’s dependable enough to keep around. I’ve ordered a few baitcaisting reels I trashed.
