In relation to DF skipping items that would help him, these things matter because they mean he doesn't need them at all to begin with. @@glebglub I kinda dropped the video after the bean teacher. It was too much "I'm gonna save money for roulette later" strat that the game doesn't want you to do and still doing it anyway. Besides, he plays on the easier difficulties, it's not really a challenge
"i never loved dodge" => dodge is the most useful skill for survival in this game since it basically totally negates the damage, instead of just reducing it. that and missing few medals, the banner, the factory, and all other good upgrades (including scrapping the leather armor at the beginning that he was meaning to take) is soooo DF
@@olivercharles2930definitely not. in the early waves, you have no chance of dying anyway, so all payoff items will be very worth it because it will help you in late game where it actually gets difficult
Just an FYI, if you are holding a level 1 SMG, another level 1 SMG will not appear in the shop. You can't have 2 of the same level item in the shop at the same time.
@@Nossral Im curious how it works. Say your big weapon does 1 shot of 40 damage per 2 seconds and you add 10% AS (attack speed), your damage will be 44. If your smg does 10 damage per 0.5 seconds, it will mean you also do 40 damage per 2 sconds. If you then add 10% AS, your damage will also end up with 44 damage (4x11). There for i wonder if AS is really worse. I dont know if there is any diminishing return in this. Maybe i am going to deep into this :D
@@Mark-zd5bd usually you buy attack speed not as a way of actually increasing damage, but to spread your damage across more enemies. With SMG, attack speed is rarely a problem, so you already spread your damage good enough, you just need more of it
Love this game. Would adore it if they changed the Dangerous Bunny to Dangerously Bunny, that would be an epic addition to their RUclipsr references but also a nice little shoutout to DFs editor :D
I found a decent build. You find the thing that makes every tree you destroy into a turret. Combined with the one shot trees, more trees, more enemies, it's a lot of money
Maaan, I love DF but some of his tunnel vision moments kill me lol. Seeing him miss coupon, and not get the 40% xp bonus for several rounds hurt. Such a good bonus to get early and really let it boost you for the rest of the game.

Sometimes it makes me wonder if HP is even useful if you're not stacking max armour, you had literally 300 hp which is pretty massive, and you died instantly in a small cluster of mobs you happen to run into, and ur armor wasn't that low either..
That's not obvious at all though. In games you expect anything to be available at any time, and it it doesn't explicitly TELL you that fact of not being available, how can you know?!

@@YanYanicantbelievethistakenffs it's for the shop - if you lock a tier X of a weapon in the shop, you won't see another tier X of that weapon. so if you lock a tier 2 smg for example, you won't roll into another tier 2 smg, but you can find a tier1, tier 3 or tier 4. what your character has equipped doesn't change what can't appear in the shop (though it does make it more likely a weapon you have equipped will appear)

Can someone explain the paper delivery comments? I had a suggested video whose title was "I just wanted to deliver the mail!" And DF mentioned mail delivery at least twice.
try mods - extatonion, elemento, VLeague are good ones. I run 50 mods with no issues but you just need to know some can cause crashes so kinda have to filter them while playing and eventually you end up with a big modlist that never crashes

He also upgrades the minigun and reads the damage off the SMG instead. Nobody ever accused this dude of being observant.

Yeah was going to say the exact same, also attack speed on smg is almost useless
why is it useless? It ads the same % of attack speed right? So your damage will increase with that %, no matter what your attackspeed is.@@Nossral

Enemy damage scaling is close to exponential in endless. 19 waves of endless means that getting touched by anything is practically an instant death.
There is a game like this on mobile but you use magic. You would love that game because of all the different builds

No the bonus for weapons is just any tier 4 weapons, the different tier 4's is for hp and that only applies to items.
