@@NoahGooder Those percentages aren't actually that low. The individual characters have weights to their drops, so 'Lucky' is weighted to see luck based items more often. If anything, his number of synergistic items were a little on the low side, because he just kept buying everything expensive he came across to raise his stat line, rather than focusing on luck based items.
The lucky modifier is pretty much the only build that if you get the right upgrades, you can stand completely still and stuff just dies around you without even getting near you
Sifd just uploaded a video where he plays with a mod for the game that changes some of the crates to golden crates that let you choose any item in the game. Just imagine the crazy content DF could produce with that power.
Anyone going to tell him it isn't the slingshot killing them but the 75% chance of dealing damage when picking up materials that came with the brotato....
Let him enjoy it, in the first 2 minutes he got the slowness tooth, said yes, and recycled it, he doesnt need to be 100% spot on to enjoy it and thats the important part, that and the friends we made along the way
I dont know if it has been mentioned or not but if you click community in the main menu it will take you to the discord and there is a mod that allows golden boxes to drop depending on how you move the sliders in the options. The golden box lets you pick any item of any rarity that you want instead of a random item it also allows you to take off the 5 box cap the game has.I think i would be cool to see like an every gold box is blank video or something. There is indeed mods for the game. Sifd recently got one that gives him a chance to get Gold Crates, which lets him pick exactly what items he wants to get from crates.

hey DF just wante to give you an insight on something. You actually picked some items that boosted Melee damage or scaled off of melee damage, the bow icon by something is range and the sword icon by something is melee, and engineer damage increases stuff your turrets do.
Funny how even in a humble indie game upgrading the chance of something good happening makes it happen less. I thought it was only a manipulation used by big lootbox companies but it seems like it's more like a law of the universe at this point.
DF uses one of the most powerful characters in brotato(that i've seen so far): Ah this slingshot killed 10 enemies that's on the other side of the screen Me: both angry and laughing my ass off because of it
I highly doubt anyone cares, but cyberball doesn't stack the way DF is explaining it. With 3 there is a 15% chance to do 64 damage (at 13:17), then another 15% chance to do 64 damage, then another roll. Instead of it being a 45% chance to do 64 damage as he was saying, there is a .15*.15*.15 chance one enemy dying can do 192 damage.
Hey DF. There is a Mod Menu Mod for Brotato. I think it works only with the Beta build though. As far as I know of, it won't add items mid run, but anytime after wave 1 (like in shops), you can add items to your Bro and it'll apply on the next wave
PLEAAASE do a run with the engineer character. its really fun and massively overpowered if you get enough engineering, combined with like 3 medical turrets.
Just a note, the way the game works, 6 level 1 slingshots ARE better than 1 levels 5, or a few level 3's. On top of losing the health bonus, overall it's less damage and bounces overall, assuming you don't replace them with other weapons.
DF ignoring speed always hurts me. Speed is so important to winning, along with Dodge since armor is basically pointless (just keep it around 0 or whatever it comes on while pursuing other stats.) Then ignores Cape, which is an amazing item.
You should make a build using those knives that when you kill 20 enemies you get 1 attack speed, you could stack attack speed until you attack so quickly no one survives.
@DF should do a run with the 200% attack speed/ one weapon brotato and use the sling shot. With the right build and getting the upgraded sling early u just dominate later
Also when doing this run, when the round near its ends don't pick up the materials(it collect into the bag and doubles the next round money for a certain amount that's in the bag) so u can earn big amounts of cash especially if u have the piggy bank mod as well
One game I would love to see you play is a Atomicrops regular or modded. But I think modded would be super fun because the stuff you can do in the game regularly is pretty sweet and it seems like a game right up your alley trial and error and doing dumb stuff

a really good idea i think it is loud with 4 or 3 ghost flint and the rest ghost axe one of my favorite at the moment deleting boss with 400% attack speed and 300% attack damage around there
I love how DF doesn’t read the build he picked. He’s wondering why enemies are randomly “popping” even though his build allows him to have a 75% chance to deal damage when picking up a material
combo like sick which is 25% life steal and slingshot which bounces 1-4 times depending on its level lets you get a lot of hits allowing you to build high stats. I have won a danger 5 run like this. To get the sling shot use the cactus club which will show you more primitive items including slingshot, after getting slingshot delete the club so the game recomends you more slingshots. Build high attack speed so you get more projectiles off.
Wave nine is always the easiest. It’s a way to test wether you have a good build or not. If you can’t clear out everything on the screen, than your build is at least decent.
Fyi DF multiple cyber balls stack in chance and damage so 2 was giving you 30% chance to deal 108.. so if you want to come back to that character. Stack baby elephant, cyberball, %dmg, and luck as high as possible.. anytime you pick up material or kill an enemy you’ll have 100% chance to kill another enemy, if you get enough of those items. You only need 2 elephants to get 100% chance to damage in material pick up because it stacks with the character’s passive
You need more baby with a beards and the add 1 bounce item. You only need to kill 1 enemy and the wave is won so long as stuff keeps spawning fast enough.
yeah, we forgot to tell you this DF, but dodge is the strongest stat for toughness, not armor also, this made me realise just how unlucky i am. my luck is so bad it can actually counteract the luck bonus of the Lucky character and give me any good items, or weapons, or upgrades
im sitting here screaming at him pointing out all the things wrong with that run.... I gotta say tho,... im impressed he made it that far with the kind of choices he was making. This version seems easier to? The health pickups would always pick up regardless of rather or not you needed them, and there was more enemies before.
There may be no mods, at least as far as I'm aware, but you can fairly easily mess with the game through cheat engine. I.e. look for a wave you're on/specific number of an item you have and change them, the game is suprisingly good at not crashing, I've recently messed with it where I've gone all the way to wave 19 and then just all the way back to the start, with all the items and guns, spoiler, 6 miniguns and 700% attack speed makes the game very unhappy, also hunting trophies are absolutely broken if stacked in those runs (you can earn upwards of 6000 or 7000 per round easily).
I love that he keeps attributing the enemies randomly dying to slingshot bounces. He clearly stopped reading the character about halfway lol.

Cyber ball was 45% chance to do 306 damage. It was the damage dealer for clearing waves. Unfortunately it doesn't proc on the boss at the end

Try playing as the bull and getting the item that gives +40 harvesting but take 1 damage a second. Stack HP regen you can out heal it easy.
This would have been fun with the Sifd’s relic item. You’d kill one enemy, stand still, and everything would just die.
