Good channel. I plan on watching every video. Your idea of miserable weather and mine are very different. I would love to dig in cool damp weather without suffocating heat and humidity.
Love the big Brown glazed dish with the handles . Unheard of it being in perfect condition . A great find . Well done ! Plus you found a few nice other bottles and at least one Codd in the Vids . So it wasn't all bad lol . I've been going for more than several years and still not found one :D
That white stuff: plaster, probably out of a big house somewhere. Me n m'mate encountered a ton of the stuff at an Asher dump once in 03. Only just came across your channel tother day, like what you're doing mate and like them dumpys you keep pulling, never seen those Notts/Mansfield bottles before and we went from Tupton to Manchester/Carrington. Glad you got back in the game after them robbers sneaked in. Nice one pal!
Thanks for that little rant about dog walkers that bag dog poop and leave it…it’s one of my big gripes as well, so stupid. I have found them hanging on tree branches along the path, seriously.
no problem i have respect for the wildlife i have 3 bird nest boxes on my garden my little lads also got a large pond at the end of his garden thats full of frogs but no toads
bottlediggertom no, I'm West Yorkshire, but a few years ago I dug a tip behind a working mans club down your way that had those codds on. the developers had scraped the top ready to landscape it. There was a story about a local drug dealer who had buried his ill gotten gains all over the tip in plastic paint buckets so there was always the chance of actual money to be found as well.
You are a thoughtful and caring soul. Much luck to you.
