The good news is that C8's are pretty plentiful now so getting a great deal is not impossible, and if the price point is similar only trunk space will decide which is better. the local chevy dealer by me has a C-8 for around 67K so they are out there.
Not in Canada they are not!!! States tons but very few here in Vancouver!!! And getting allocation is very hard as well! So no the prices here are still very high! I bet i could get another 10 at least for my 2024 convertible when I get mine! Love my 3lt coupe!!

Book value was 129 ish nearly 130. I paid a bit less, but transfer tax goes on book! So it's like 16k taxes. Even then it could of been ten k more! Love the car , waiting for my convertible 3lt R model that I ordered also. Wanted both models!

There are dealerships that will sell you a C8 at MSRP. So you can still get a 1LT for mid 60’s. I’ve been waiting for 2 years for my C8 but thankfully my C7 is amazing.
Looks great and sounds even better, I love the deep throaty growl from the V8 in this C8 Stingray. When I think of any Mustang (even a Black Horse) I think of it being up against the Chevy Camaro or a Dodge Charger, Corvettes are in a totally different catagory of vehicle. I am only talking about a general customer (not a mustang fan or a corvette fan)even after 5 years since release. C8 still gets center of attention anywhere. It can smoke a dark horse anytime anywhere. So you get the power , look. C8 is an obvious choice.

For my 30th birthday back I. June we went to Vegas and my wife surprised me with one of these but in white. We went off the strip for about 30-40 miles and I pushed this beauty to about 120-130mph and it drove so beautifully I was in heaven. Maybe one day I’ll get one of these.
Joe my first corvette was a two toned cream over that exact same color I hate brown and would never buy a brown car but this color isn’t brown you hit the color on the head here with rootbeer perfect name for it I also purchased that car at the age of 17 when I was about to graduate high school to date that’s the one car I’m still kicking my self for letting it go it was a 1981 corvette

This is a great car. One of the best performance bargains. Amazing review as always. Also I saw another reviewer make a video on a base c8 with barely any options. I’m not sure if it’s still around but it was that pastel green color.
FYI, the Chevy Suburban dates back to the 40's... so it can be argued is the oldest nameplate. The Corvette is one of the only supercars that has a front lift option to keep from scraping it. There is a very humorous episode of Top Gear where Richard Hammond tries to take Lambo into downtown area of a small italian town and scrapes the heck out of the car. Ouch. It's taken my whole life to see a Corvette that can handle the curves. A killer car, and a good value. Too bad most of the dealers are adding a markup (still).

"Zeus Brown" is NOT a color😂 its Zeus Bronze but the car you're showing is called Caffeine Brown and they stopped making tht color in 2022 so it's definitely not a 23 but you're still The Man!!!!

We love our 2023 3LT HTC, it replaced our 2008 3LT convertible with manual transmission. I loved the manual transmission but, there’s always a big but, the C8 is without a doubt the best vehicle this 75 yo has ever driven and I love driving. The HTC was well worth the extra money.

The C8 Corvette is at another level compared to the Mustang, I don't see why someone would pay $80k for a mustang dark horse that is not much faster than a regular GT 5.0, I rather go with a Shelby 350 over the dark horse
Throttle House went 1s faster with the Dark Horse vs the GT350 on their track. However, I m a Corvette guy, between the C8 and the DH, for sure I d go with the C8!
My brother has a 2017 Grand Sport with the 6 speed manual and a 2023 ZO6. It is no contest. The Z06 is so much faster and handles the turns much better. And the flat plane crank V8 sounds way better.
No matter the Corvette, Mustangs are not in Corvettes class. They pit the Corvettes up against $300,000 plus Ferrari’s and hyper cars, the likes of Bugatti and so forth. They don’t compare mustangs to super/hyper cars despite the horsepower. The Corvette is the best bang for the buck and it keep’s America in the hyper/super car conversation around the world. Go Corvette!!
The Corvette has had some of the most unique colors and the Zeus Brown is gorgeous. I agree with you on the gloss black quarter panel and the rear spoiler is sleek!

This isn't in my budget, but if i was looking at 70-80k for a V8 performance vehicle, the Corvette would be a tough one to ignore.

It was one of the hottest cars three years ago on planet earth and it still is even though some of the prices have dropped and we see more on the used market 15,000 or 20,000 miles. You can get one for $69,000 or so sometimes $74,000. I’ve seen in mint condition which is what it should’ve been when it first came out, but of course they had a gouge everybody and it became a rich man game Doesn’t make any sense because that was always just one step above a regular muscle car and somewhat attainable. It wasn’t supposed to be unattainable for the average guy. It’s finally coming down in price but at the end of the day it’s the greatest technology General Motors has ever done you.
MSRP was $80K for this Corvette, but what is the dealer asking for with their ridiculous markup?
