Omggggg i visited Guatemala last year for my birthday and it was amazing! Its so beautiful and underrated, unfortunately we had to leave immediately mid way our trip due to the riots :( but we got to visit Antigua and Tikal. We missed out on Lago Atitlan :(… definitely a country to go back to!

Long time follower. Always enjoy your videos. You guys make an amazing couple. Please DO NOT skip Guatemala City, Centro Histórico has amazing buildings and history. Relief Map is interesting and unique. Is such an underrated country. Your accommodations could be better, many beautiful colonial hotels to choose from with great prices. Enjoy!! The World needs to know about this amazing full of history little country. And the local people smiles are priceless. 🇬🇹
Guatemala is such a beautiful country! Hey guys don’t skip the capital, there are so many great places to explore in Guatemala City. Zona 10 is the best place to stay imo. Safe travels!
Jessica Dearlyloved welcome to my small, but beautiful country of Guatemala 🇬🇹 the country of the eternal spring...hope u had enjoyed ur stay😊😊my country is ur country...blessings ❤️
Lago de Atitlán is well worth checking out, especially staying opposite the volcano on the other side of the lake; they have hummingbirds all over that area right up to the hotel windows. But, also be careful on the volcano walks as a lot of machete robberies happen.
Wonderful to see Antigua again, so many changes since I drove my 1969 VW campervan there and camped alongside the central plaza which you could do back then in 1989. I climbed up to that magnificent volcano and back again in a day. Awesome experience. You've been doing some great travels which we have been following for a couple of years now. Well done. We are going to Japan tomorrow and we have been using your videos as reference. So thank you for that.
Love volcanos! I was lucky to see many eruptions in my lifetime! Hawaii, Mt St. Helens in Washington state, and Popocatepl, in Puebla, Mexico... My sister climbed several mountains in Nicaragua and gazed into a steaming hot volcano there... Life is a Daring Adventure :)
Thank you for visiting Guatemala! Antigua Guatemala is a pretty nice and clean city, You might want to discover the Guatemalan Caribbean! There's a popular tour that starts from Lake Izabal and takes you through the Rio Dulce to the Atlantic Coast of Guatemala. This tour is often referred to as the "Rio Dulce Tour" or "Lake Izabal to Atlantic Coast Tour". The tour typically involves a scenic boat ride through Rio Dulce, which connects Lake Izabal to the Caribbean Sea. Along the way, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including lush tropical forests, rugged cliffs, and picturesque villages. Some tours may also include stops at various points of interest, such as: - Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, a historic fortification - Rio Dulce Hot Springs, for a relaxing soak - The Caribbean Sea, for beach time or snorkeling. Also if you are planning to stay a little bit longer, Guatemala City hosts various Christmas events and activities throughout the holiday season. Some popular ones include: 1. El Árbol Navideño de Cerveza Gallo (Gallo Beer Christmas Tree) 2. La Parada de Navidad (Christmas Parade) 3. Festival de Luces (Festival of Lights) 4. Mercado de Navidad (Christmas Market) 5. Conciertos de Navidad (Christmas Concerts) These events showcase Guatemalan culture, food, music, and traditions, making the holiday season a wonderful time to visit Guatemala City.
Loved this! I really want to go there! If my memory is good ‘country collectors’ had some amazing episodes in Guatemala City where they were showing that actually it was worthy of visiting G city if you are interested they made an amazing serie in Guatemala. Cheers for telling us about the mold and probably best to prepay online so you pay what was the original price! Look forward to the next one Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧 Happy 7Y anniversary 🥂🍾
You both lost weight I suppose, well, better for the health! Happy Jumping Places! Stay Safe and Stay Strong ❗️from your fan from the Philippines 🇵🇭 since your last trip ‼️
2.04. Wow, Beautiful Church. I bet when the fountain was running it looked spectacular. Gorgeous views from the top of the church. Stunning. As is the Arch. You mentioned being here years ago, but did you also make a video from here? I remember watching one of your videos and talking about the crossing so they did not have to walk into the street. Or maybe, that was somewhere else. Showing my age a little forgetful. LOL. I love how the ladies store the hats they are selling. Great information for everyone as always. Shame they do not update the details. You two always stumble across the best places. Gorgeous courtyard. Great you got your socks, so cheap. All Your food looked good. I love all the different colored buildings. Beautiful tour around. Beautiful at night. Nice sweet treats. That was a tiny room, and cheeky with the prices. And dangerous with the mold. Thank you for sharing. Happy Sunday. Liked and shared.
yea it's such a cool cute little place :D We have never been to Guatemala before, our first time and loving it! Happy Sunday for you and your family also :D
@@JumpingPlaces Sorry. I am full of cold and so my ears are bunged up, I thought you said you had been there before. Thank you, with family today so it was lovely. Thank you.
Nice too see yall exploring Guatemala. We were in Antigua in January of this year but didn’t film any of it. Would assume a Lake Atitlan and a volcano trek video coming up?
Hello Chris and Carol, I’m leaving for El Salvador on Sunday. I am visiting my daughter in the Santa Ana area of El Salvador. Very excited to see your video today. Antigua is close if I have time maybe I will get there too. Thank you so much for sharing your travels, your videos are always enjoyable and informative. Keep up the wonderful work.

yes still the action 5, gopro would have been horrible in this cloudy weather. We use the internal mic but we have a windslayer (spong cover) t remove the wind sound. We do have to increase the volume in many instances while editing though
@ awesome thanks for sharing!! I’ve been using the IPhone 15 Pro with Rode ME and Osmo 6 gimbal for my channel mostly but need to add the action 5 for sure. The internal mic and furry seem to do a great job! Happy travels 🏝️😎
Hi! You mentioned you arrived late to the airport but could still arrange a taxi. What time did you arrive exactly? Because I’m looking at flights right now and some flights only arrives at 10:30pm at night so not sure if that would still be okay.
I dont know why the internet information about Guatemala City is so wrong, most of tourists skip the city because they read that is to dangerous, but this information is fake, the city is like other big cities about security, in general Guatemala City is safe. If you want to visit the city i recommend Historic Center, to see the Metropolitan Church, the National Palace with tour into it, walk in 6 Avenue, eat at the central market ( all this is in zone 1), in zone 4 the place call 4 Grados Norte, zone 10, in zone 16 Cayala City, the Aurora Zoo, and a lot of variety of malls, museums, restaurants, nice parks when you can walk like Avenida Las Américas, and a lot of more Places.
it wasn't because of safety for us, we just thought it was less interesting than the other places that we want to visit on this trip. We didn't want to skip another place for Guatemala city
The tamarind sweet you tried is also a common sweet in Trinidad and Tobago. They call it tamarind balls. It's the same thing. Cocada is also similar to another Trini sweet called sugar cake.
Do you know Guatemala have the bigs attractions parks. Of central and south America we call Disney Guatemala diferents parks in one town. That's parks are makes for money the all employees from bigers companies of Guatemala. They kip money to the employees and automatically they are members of the parks and they enter in the parks not pay.
Why not come to Serbia, one of the most beautiful countries in Europe. You've been to Montenegro, Croatia, but you haven't visited one of the oldest countries in Europe with a rich history and beautiful nature, with the largest city in the region, Belgrade. The only thing we don't have is the sea!
