Cool
My battery health is at 79
Well now I’ve lost trust in all repairs
My iPhone 12s maximum capacity is at 89 and I got it in December. Why did this happen so fast
Hey man can you find me a vid to hellp me see why m thg ps4 in on a black screen
That's really scary, imagine repair shops actually abusing that to replace batterys with used batterys and then selling the repair at full price
Uh
With how customers are youd notice if it didn’t do anything. Anyone who does repair can say they’ve had people come back.
@@matthewzepess5721 They don't need to built in 40% health batterys or something extreme like that. If a customer comes in with 60-70% health for example and they put in a 90% health battery instead of a 100%, the customer won't notice that's something wrong.
And even if they did, the repair shop could just blame it on the phone being old or something like that
That's normal here in the US.
Yeah I do repairs and people only replace the battery when there is a noticeable need. (Phone does fast, won’t power on, etc.) they will still notice the issue
Infinite money glitch?
Repair shop could perform arbitrage by buying at below 80% then changing it to 100% and reselling as full battery capacity. 😳
🤫🤫🤫
We will be releasing a patch for this soon sorry for any inconveniences

Thanks dev
that’s called scamming lmao

"what's your battery health at?"
Me with a Samsung: it's still working
on samsung it does not tell you about the battery, you have to notice it yourself (battery going down too fast like my 7year used Samsung Galaxy J5, every minute 3% is gone).
@F1BD in the settings you can go to diagnostics and battery and it will say "normal" or "good". That's abt it
@TraeldornTech Nah, on my sis J6 it shows "good" battery, while actually her battery is shit...
@@F1BD bro that means you've got 33 minutes untill ur phone dies. Whatttt lol
@ibrahimkhel470 A full charge actually lasts 50 minutes on my j5. But i dont care, i dont use my phone much.

@@PhoneRepairGuru what program do u using to do this ?

This just tells me the phone doesn't actually know the actual health of the battery 🤣
Well, no one said that it does. It’s mostly a guesstimate based on charge cycles and other factors like that. Al because it’s chemical changes and you can’t really gauge the chemical age of the battery other than basing it off of charge cycles and how batteries *typically* are health wise at that point
No one said that it is the function of the smartphone to measure the battery health. Even apple never said it. It’s system organized on different factors and chemical fertileness in the long-run such as how many times you charged your phone and utilization cycle which evaluate the battery health not phone itself.
My battery was 100 %, and then i updated to IOS 15, And then the next day it’s 98%… something very fishy
I run a rooted Android phone, i just have this app that runs a couple charge cycles measuring amperage and voltage over time to see how many mAh the phone is capable of.
@@meowmeowcat99 No, but you can do a relatively good estimate of how much power your using, combined with the battery's expected capacity you can get a decent estimate of battery health by seeing how long it takes to drain the phone.
That's why my Linux computer keeps giving me slightly different (yet close enough) figures for my battery health. Because it keeps recalculating this, and it's still pretty much guestimates.
If your battery is actually at 100% and your phone displays that it’s lower because you recently changed battery then the fix is very simple. Charge your phone to 100% and then use it actively till it dies. Then let it sit (not charging) for around 4 hours (or overnight if possible) and then charge it again to 100%. The battery status will update and you won’t need to program it or something. This is the actual recalibration process. Try doing it without changing battery, the displayed battery life number will change to something higher usually (or lower)
So just charge it to 100% and then let it drain? My health dropped from 92 to 89 for no reason
@@nassim3418recalibrated
Is it only if you can see your battery health?
@@dapandamanda yes in all iPhones

“A video for those types of scammers”
This is going to immediately correct itself after a cycle anyway. Actually faster. TIs Impedance Track Technology will track a cell throughout a cycle. The SOH is calculated on the fly.
Yeah but some people will change and sell the phone or battery for higher price.
@@aitran2703 they do, it's an industry wide issue. Suppliers even advertise "0 cycle" as being a feature, rather than what it is, deception.
So technicians go out of their way to buy zero cycle batteries, thinking that's what they want. They don't.
Bit like selling a car and saying "it goes really fast, but I've never driven it"
this is a relieve
Is there a purpose in reprogramming a battery then? If it'll just reset itself in a cycle? Or does the bms only track efficiency going down not up.
What if you set it to above 100%? Those were options and I wonder if it will show in the software.
It will be at 100%, iphone software measures health in this way, for example iphone x have 2700 mah battery, in software, 100% health is when the phone is 2700+ mah and when it drops to 90% its 90% from 2700.. so i have a 3000 mah battery in my iphone x, from a premium resseler now its at 2800 but my phone is at 100% health even thought its not 100% from actual capacity and it should be at least 95%
If it’s set above 100% you’ll be able to see the news 2 weeks ahead of the current time you’re living in
Does it work for the 3200mAh version??
@@jeffreygaming4219 it work for every battery iphone
@@jeffreygaming4219 just watch out in 3utools if its actually 3200 mah because there are thousands of fake batteries
Mine is surprisingly 94% and I use it on and off the charger constantly and I have had it for approximately half a year
charging a phone all the way to 100% and then using it until its flat and then charging it all the way up again is whats going to degrade your battery the fastest. its best to keep the battery percent between 20-80%. losing 6% in 6 months is honestly pretty bad.
Would the phone recognize a bad battery and lower the percentage after a few cycles?
Please change it to 120% efficiency we need to see it
It will be at 100%, iphone software measures health in this way, for example iphone x have 2700 mah battery, in software, 100% health is when the phone is 2700+ mah and when it drops to 90% its 90% from 2700.. so i have a 3000 mah battery in my iphone x, from a premium resseler now its at 2800 but my phone is at 100% health even thought its not 100% from actual capacity and it should be at least 95%

Hey guru can you try to change the capacity to 100 to 101%?
Shouldn't the phone do the calculating? I know there's an app on Android that calculates your health over a long period of time
yeah but that can take a while and can make the battery appear at a lower level for longer. ie your batter would drain from 100 to 20 really quickly but would stay at 20 for a pretty long time. the way he's doing it is better.
androids aren't made to rip u off though, iPhones aro
