Yeah thats the crazy part. In 2.1, there wasn't a scale trigger yet, so all the "3D-Depth" animations were made by building frame by frame. And then you also need to think about the optimization issues that come from having that many frames, and how he had to optimize it so the level can run.

The level has so many objects you have to use a patch that increases the memory size Geometry Dash can use, it’s THAT big Edit: I GET IT, IT WORKS ON MOBILE WITHOUT THE PATCH (I should’ve clarified the patch was only needed for windows)
Geometry Dash shifted from 2D to 3d is like giving Minecraft an RTX treatment on an old computer. For a level that is THIS big on mobile, it takes a lot of risk, but the cinematic quality is impressive nonetheless.
To put into persoective why this took so long: to create this 3d effect spu7nix had to frame by frame animate a lot of the parts in the level and I think he also used external programms and a programming language (which he also made himself in Gd) to create the 3d movements

The impressing thing about WHAT and HOW is the 3D prespective and the rescaling of objects. Object rescaling during runtime isn't possible in 2.1 / 2.11. There is a LOT of math behind 3D, especially perspective cameras (such as the ones in the aformentionned levels). There isn't even any math-related triggers in geometry dash so that makes everything all the more impressive
also that little animated outro at the end of the video where it shows spu7nix's logo and 2.1 turning into 2.2. THAT IS ALSO IN THE LEVEL. i at first also thought it was added for the video but it isn't

I'm pretty sure for the most part he used blender to create the 3D parts and animations, then used his evolution thingy to put it into GD.
