    Wow I am so glad I came across your video. I am planning to start wholesale. Selling retail is not working out for me I decided to follow the whole sale route. I will definitely give Faire a try😍

    Hi! Thanks so much for the info! How much inventory did you prepare for wholesale? I'm not sure how much to start off with haha

    • @sudsysoapworks
      @sudsysoapworks  2 года назад +3

      You’re welcome! 💕 I bulk buy all of my ingredients and most of my wholesale products are made to order, besides my soap. You can set your processing time higher and make to order so you don’t have to keep a stock. At least to start out with so you get an idea of how much you will need to have on hand! I just started bulk producing my products and typically keep 20-50 items each in stock. If you don’t want to do “made to order” I would suggest 20-30 of each item if you have 15+ products. If you have less than that then I would do 30+ of each. Honestly it all depends what you are selling.

      @@sudsysoapworks That's so helpful, thank you! :) I started selling soap just last year, and one of my goals this year is to start selling my soaps wholesale. I wasn't sure if Faire had a "made-to-order" option, but I'm happy to hear that there is! And then hopefully, eventually, I'll be able to produce in bulk like you do :D I wish you all the best in your business!

    • @sudsysoapworks

      It’s not necessarily a “made to order” option, I just extend my processing time to 15-21 days. Once you start keeping inventory you can decrease your processing time (which will bring in even more sales). For soap right now, I make about 4 loaves at a time and allow the wholesale customers to buy in sets of 5. When I first started in January I would make 2 at a time! My minimum order threshold is $150 but you can set that at whatever you would like. I’ll be making a more in-depth video in the near future explaining all this 💕 I wish the best for you and your business as well! 🥰 thanks for watching!

    hey, just found your video and you have great advice! I too feel the same way about white labeling. I feel like I put so much time and creativity in my products just for others to slap their label on it. Im just wondering how did you get more understanding of that and what helped you?
    Thank so much! and would love to see more wholesale videos :)

    • @sudsysoapworks
      @sudsysoapworks  Год назад +2

      It could have been because the waitlist was too long. Many get waitlisted! I have heard from other brands getting denied, but got approved with a referral link.
      Edit: also a referral link isn’t a guarantee, I just find it can boost your chances of getting approved when you are vetted through another brand!
