If you had a problem with Franco, it was YOUR problem. Such a gentleman and one of the great ambassadors of the NFL. The game Saturday will be a wake for Franco, Pittsburgh is grieving right now.

Franco was such a class act on and off the field. todays athletes should take notice of how to conduct yourself as a professional athlete.

Mr. Harris life well done. I remember you coming to the state capitol in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. I remember you walking down the hallways of the capitol. I think you gave me your autograph too. I’ll have to look for it. You were always nice to me and smiled and said “Hello”….which meant the world to me. Rest in Love Franco. Life well done. My condolences to your wife and children and love ones and friends. You get your rewards….heaven awaits your beautiful smile 😊

FRANCO HARRIS WAS A REALLY BIG DEAL IN THE 1970s WHEN I WAS 5 YEARS OLD MY MOTHER BOUGHT ME A PITTBUGH STEELERS JACKET WHICH MADE ME LOVE THE STEELERS WHICH MADE ME LEARN THE NAMES OF THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS BACK THEN LIKE MEAN JOE GREEN WHO WAS ONE OF THE 4 STEELERS I WAS A TRUE FAN OF, FRANSO HARRIS, MEAN JOE GREEN, LYNN SWANN AND TERRY BRADSHAW WITH THE LONG BLONDE HAIR FLAPPING AROUND AS HE SCRAMBLED WITH THE FOOTBALL. THE PITTBURGH STEELERS ARE THE REASON A LOT OF PEOPLE LOVED THE GAME CALLED FOOTBALL.CONTINUE TO REST IN PEACE, THE GREAT FRANCO HARRIS WHO I ONCE MET NOT LONG AGO WHEN HE CAME TO PHILLY TO WATCH A SIXERS GAME WITH THE PENN STATE ALUMNI WHICH A ROOKIE BASKETBALL PLAYER WHO HAD WENT TO PENN STATE, WAS PLAYING AGIANST THE SIXERS SO THEIR ALUMNI WAS ALL THERE TO SHOW THIS YOUNG KID SUPPORT. SO I MET FRANCO HARIIS WHILE WAITING IN THE HOTDOG LINE WHICH HARRIS WAS TWO PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME IN LINE SO I SAID SOMETHING TO HIM WHICH HE RESPONDED WITH, "YES, I'M FRANCO HARRIS." WHICH I THEN ASKED TO SHAKE HIS HAND WHICH HE SAID HE HAD A COLD BUT HE DID EXTENDED HIS ELBOW AS TO USE THAT TO SHOW RESPECT TO GREET ME. TO MEET MY ALL-TIME BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER SINCE I HAVE 5 YEARS OLD, I MET HIM WHEN I WAS 37 OR 38, IT WAS A SPECIAL MOMENT TO MEET SOMEONE LIKE HIM. WHAT MADE IT EVEN PERFECT, I WAS FLYING FROM ARIZONA TO PHILLY BUT HAD A LAYOVER IN PITTBURGH WHICH I GOT TO SEE ALL THE PITTBURBGH STEELERS' STATUES OF THE GREATNESS OF THE PITTBURGH STEELERS AND THE LATE GREAT FRANCO HARRIS. WHAT ELSE CAN A DIEHARD FRANCO HARRIS' FAN AND PENNSYLVANIA'S SPORTS FAN CAOULD ASK FOR...
