Man.. I feel sorry for this guy and all his hard work. It’s all going to end up getting pulled up most likely. We bought the black barrier strips too, you place it over the weed barrier and hammer in the spikes. We had the exact same ones we bought them at Lowe’s. No matter how perfectly you follow the instructions, they warp like crazy in a week of being in the sun. There’s no way to straighten them out, returned them all. It’s an awful product that shouldn’t be on the shelves. If it’s still there, then their barrier looks like one heck of a snake with weeds poking through the gaps.
I have had this same idea for some time now but all the products are way too expensive
