For what it's worth. I hooked mine up to a dead battery in an F150. The mode stayed stuck in motorcycle and kept beeping (all night, zero charge.) The solution: Disconnected the battery from the truck. Charged right up.

Hi, should the charger show full at some point when in pulse mode? When in vehicle mode it shows full. But when I put it in repair mode it seems to just go in forever. My battery had died after my car had been stood for a month or two, so I decided to purchase this charger to trickle charge it back to life. It’s been about 4 - 5 days now and it is still in repair mode with all battery symbol and rep symbol still flashing. But yet it shows full after about a minute in vehicle mode. What am I not understanding here as I’m going crazy and I’m sure it isn’t good leaving a battery to charge for so long? Thanks in advance.
@@negroticos Yeah after about 4-5 days of continuous charging! But it did eventually settle on full. But if I turn the machine off then straight back on, it charges for another day or two until reading full again. I think my battery may be goosed though.
We use them and build them into our ambulances to keep the batteries at maxim performance but it depends on the AMP HOURS of the battery so be prepared to leave it on repair for a few days eg we use 100 Amp Hour batteries and it can take up to 3 days to complete the repair. The higher the AMP hours of the battery and not the cranking power it can take longer to complete the repair. After all that we just set the charger for normal charging as when the ambulances are back at the station they are plugged into charge so by doing that the battery is kept at it's full charge. Please note well if you have more than 2 batteries connected in your vehicle do NOT try and set the repair with more than 2 batteries if it is the case you have more than 1 battery then seek out a heavy duty charger and repair system built into the charger other wise you will burn out the Charger. In short the charger in the video is made to charge 1 battery only. We don't endorse any type of charger.
Batteries over time to through wear and tear do at times need repairing particularly if you leave them idle to go flat together with age and wear & tear
I have got one of these units ( no instructions) My battery seems to have parasitic drain.... Had it tested battery okay..... It often flat in morning so connect charger and it starts okay in about 20 mins..... If I take car for long run to clean particular filter may start okay for about a week etc.

Good video, do you know if repair mode uses 16 volt spike pulses like a Noco Genius 5 and 10 charger, and CTEK chargers use? Also your Amazon links show the BUDDYGO charger is no longer available, it may have been replaced with a FoxSur charger which looks identical.
I just bought this battery charger 100% exactly same as you bought. The only different is the brand is Foxsur, yours is BuddyGo. The colour also same which is yellow. When I select repair mode, the percentage is moving from botton to the top. Its keeps moving, none stop. But as shown on your video, the percentage is idle, Your repair symbols is blinking, same with mine. But after i charge my 12V battery for about 18 hours, the battery still not completed. I switch to off the power supply. Im curious it maybe explode because there must be a presure inside the battery.. Maybe Im wrong.

Hi there, the battery needs to be disconnected from the car when charging / repairing. So for me, as I don’t have a garage or driveway, I have to bring the battery inside the house after disconnecting from the car. If you have eg a driveway then you could disconnect the battery and charge it without having to remove the battery from the car. Hope that makes sense 🙏

Hi @Hiren Patel - yes that's right. The charger should fix the issue assuming you battery doesn't have any other issues. In terms of how long will the battery last - the charger is designed to recharge / repair your battery and so after that your battery should last in line with its life expectancy. As for counting on a replacement battery - you only will need this if the battery has reached it life expectancy or has other issues which have made it so the battery isn't repairable. Besides that, the only other thing I would check are your cable leads (when you are connecting the battery back to the car) are connected correctly (positive to positive, negative to negative) and not damaged. I would get the jump starter first and see if it does actually jumpstart the car . If it does than I would return the battery charger. Hi Cefnonn, yes it does repair the battery but of course within reason. If your battery has surpassed it's end life date or you have had to repair the battery multiple times in a short period of time then the battery may be beyond repair. In my view, it is worth repairing a battery before purchasing a new one - for me personally repairing has saved me buying a new one and prolonged the life of my existing battery. Hope that helps! 🙏

I am in Canada and my car battery is quite old - Using a load tester, I recently found that the condition of the battery is 'weak' and the cranking amp was low. I have been using the same type of battery charger (Nexpeak from Amazon) in STD/car mode but have not yet tried the 'Repair' mode. Do you think Repair mode will boost up the cranking amp too? What does it mean when the battery part is flashing? It shows 13.8 volts when I plug it in but the battery is dead.
sounds like the battery isnt absorbing any charge, hence the voltage going straight up to 13.8v.

Hi Yubi, thanks for your feedback on my video - appreciate it! 🙏 I don't think you should worry too much on how long the repair takes - yes it will depend on the health of the battery. If the battery repairable than the repair mode will help rectify the issue... it might never be as good as new but it will pro-long the useful life of the battery,

I have the same charger, I put it to the test on six bad batteries, it did absolutely nothing for them , all six were not improved at all in any way, my wallet was lighter than it was before I bought this charger, the only thing it did accomplish,

Hi Oktay, the battery needs to be disconnected from the car, so you don’t need to remove it if for example you have a driveway or garage (sadly I don’t) hope that helps! 🤦♂️
