    For anyone unsure why BOA has a lack of bins it's because of the 'sport' of Bin Jousting which we have done some videos on in the past, here's a link: ruclips.net/video/6ifH6i-cTvo/видео.html

    Just ridiculous. In 1983 I bought a 2 man ridge tent to go to Chester Folk Festival. I used it for that festival twice, Glastonbury 5 times, Cropredy 8 times, and numerous other things too. I've still got it. In our day we proudly packed away our camping kit at the end of a festival, took it home and cleaned it ready for the next one.

      @RegnStövel 6 месяцев назад

      ye, It really is. One could start a business selling those used tents, cleaning them, I might even fix holes and put some new fabric over them and then sell them. I have been thinking this seeing how much usable stuff people just throw about and leave, everything from clothes, shoes, tents, glasses, bags, backpacks, trunks, flashlights, cords, utencils, appliances, tools. Not just events but almost anywhere and as long as it is not completely soiled it can still be saved. Usually.

    I used to go to festivals back in the early 80s, mainly free traveller type festivals, also Glastonbury (which was also free because I always sneaked in), there was never the level of camping stuff left behind back then, in fact it was practically unknown! Different generation I suppose, it’s so sad to see, where are people’s personal responsibilities? Have they really got so much money that they can afford to throw it away like that, I really can’t get my head round it. When I think about my late mother, who grew up in the Second World War, she hated waste of any kind but this goes beyond waste it seems like symptom of a sick society!🤔😟🤷‍♂️

      I'm too disabled for tents, festivals and camping holidays now and miss my little tent dearly. It did many years service for me, eventually needing a tarp duct tapped over the floor (it started to break down and cover me in little bits of plastic). Gave it to a friend after his got trashed at a rowdy festival (note he packed his broken tent up.and took it home!) As far as I know it's still in service 20years regular use!

      Tents aren't so useless for the homeless, in the city there is nowhere for them to set one up, and where they can is usually not a safe place to do so - you will get hoodlums trashing it. so if they wanted to set up a tent it would be out of town, where food and water scavenging is slim pickings.

    Alright L-Dan, Good to catch up again this jahr.
    Me and MY Dan were getting the coach at the pick up area on the Monday and we found 2 black high quality wheely things. 4 wheeled, concertinas when not in use, black canvas, quality metal frame and a fold down puling handle, and brand new with a tiny bid of mud on. £75 worth of anyone's money so we took one, folded it and got it onto the coach. 3 years ago we got our current teepee tent free on a Monday worth £200 which we use each year.
    Also, I drank about 30 beers and paid for 3 as the beer is practically free at bloodstock with the cup collection thingy. Nowhere like Bloodstock, it's my cultural highlight of the year.
