for those who play WQAE if you are struggling to find an Elk herd I have a tip! I call it "When in doubt follow the mule deer" in a lot of my cases when I follow mule deer I usually get some where theres a good food source if this helps you im glad! :D
I usually find them wherever bison are. Or other wolves. So in other words, litrally just follow any other sent and there will be Elk somewhere near them. Elk are animal magnets.

Fr.. i hate some coats- i got a mate that had the twin coat, had a litter of 3 pups (males) and we spawned a literal golden pup 😭 i am glad i changed my coat before having pups for a more “realistic vibe” because damn thats cute.
@@TheRealzCrímsønfr 😂 but hot women too ig, some males exist lol (mostly the pups that are playable i play as, though my favourites are ofc the females) (unless a male is literally golden like a pup in my litter with my wolf 1285M (Wolf/Teddy, its a storyline with the pack) and his mate 1212 (1212F, Star, female wolf) just random names for it to be like realistic like a documentary, have to practice lol.
I still wonder, why is that not ur female wolf going out of the den but a MALE mate? This game has problems, needs some lighting polishing, needs some more to the life quiality( like more emotes, coats, animations etc. ). I also wish we could create our own coat by random shapes of fur (good example on white coats) and that we can make the colours and add scars, i mean we create our own wolf so i wish to take that to another level :> Prob all that after saga update.

Once I played as a wolf that killed all her mates after she had pups with them and then got a new mate lol. I killed them with bison too
