Not gonna lie , when it comes to a personal level, I always thought that Green Goblin was way worse to Spider-Man than the Joker was to Batman.
Because when the Green Goblin kills Peter's loved ones, they' don't come back.
jihef03 I knew that Green goblin was bad, I knew about the whole sins past, and killing Gwen before, but everything he brought up in this video gets me more excited on how Green goblin will be portrayed by in the mcu
I'm also expecting Norman around the corner in MCU, but I don't think they'll go that road. The things Norman have done to Peter are so f*cked up it wouldn't be judged appropriate for a broad audience.

The Green Goblin deserves much more recognition and attention. He's such a creative and cool character. Everyone can tell you who's Batman's arch nemesis is (Joker) but people have a harder time telling you who Spider-Man's arch nemesis is and Spiderman is more popular and profitable than any other superhero.
Foxy Raccoon Batman is more popular he the most games and movies and graphic novel than any other hero batman has a large fan base for being powerless that can beat any hero and villain

Finding out Gwen cheated makes me care less for her character, since Spiderman is in my top 5 and cheating has happened and it sucks. Seduced or not.

He shouldn't have even brought up the Sins Past story where Gwen and Norman have sex. It's the worse Spider-Man story of all time, and possibly worst Comicbook story ever. It makes 0 sense, and Gwen would NEVER sleep with Norman. And Norman wouldn't rape Gwen either. He's been a lot of things, but he's never done anything like that.

_One More Day_ was worse.

I disagree; _One More Day_ completely ruined Spider-Man's character. He makes a deal with Mephisto/The Devil, the most evil being in the universe, for purely selfish reasons. Peter Parker's moronic decision to unmask to the public results in his Aunt being shot, so he sells his marriage to the woman he loves most in the world out to Satan because he can't accept responsibility for his careless actions (which greatly goes against everything the character stands for). On top of that, Peter actually guilt trips a reluctant Mary Jane in to agreeing to Mephisto's idiotic terms by repeatedly telling her that he can't live with Aunt May's death if it's his fault. He doesn't make the deal for Aunt May; he makes the deal for himself. In a tie-in issue, Aunt May's spirit tells Peter that she has lived a good, long life, is ready to die and that he should live out the rest of his days with the woman he loves (Mary Jane). And yes, the story is technically canon because the only reason Peter and Mary Jane aren't married is because Mephisto changed the past as revealed in _One Moment in Time_ (which is very much canon). If all of that wasn't enough, _One More Day_ leads directly in to the unnecessary _Brand New Day_, where Peter is back to being a jobless bum, was never married to Mary Jane, acts far too immature for his age, fights a bunch of terrible new villains (Paper Doll, Menace, Freak, Screwball, etc). and has decades of character development thrown out because Joe Quesada seems to want Spider-Man to always stay the same and never grow or develop as a character.
So yes, I am completely confident in saying that everything I listed above is far worse and more insulting than Gwen Stacy sleeping with Norman Osborn.

Hey, I'm not trying to defend _Sins Past_ (it's terrible), but I still reject it as being a worse story than _One More Day_. And actually, Peter and Mary Jane aren't back together; only in the non-canon _Renew Your Vows_ series are they married again. Also, Peter didn't make the deal with Mephisto to erase his identity to keep Mary Jane safe; he made it because he is apparently too immature to accept the consequences and responsibility for his actions (which is an insult to everything the character stands for). Mephisto deciding to erase everyone's memories of Spidey's secret identity was just thrown in to the deal at the last minute because Joe Quesada wanted to restore the status quo in the laziest and stupidest manner possible.
Both stories are undeniably awful, but _One More Day_ will always be worse in my opinion for utterly tarnishing Spider-Man's character and ushering in a mediocre new status quo that still hasn't been completely rectified. As atrocious as _Sins Past_ was, at least it was mostly ignored afterward (aside from the even worse _Sins Remembered_ storyline) and didn't really have any lasting repercussions on future stories.

Nope, I thought that too. I think it was because Venom's powers were so similar to Spider-Man. Looking back on it, there's plenty of villains with similar powers to their heroes, but back then the concept was still new to me.

This is just goblin/normans most evil moments involving Spiderman. How about a whole follow up video about his Dark Reign arc where he was basically the big bad for EVERYONE in the marvel universe. He was more calculating than evil a lot of the time but if dressing bullseye up as Hawkeye and giving villians permission to act as Avengers etc

The Green Goblin, Spider-man's archenemy, and one of Marvel's and comics' best villain! For me, him and Doctor Doom are my two fave marvel villains.
Green Goblin is more evil, Doctor Doom at least has some redeeming qualities and a strong sense of honor, whereas Goblin loves to fight dirty and enjoys killing people as well as goes out of his way to make Peter's life even harder by already adding insult to injury. Doctor Doom may hate Reed Richards with a passion, but could be satisfied with his victory once he truly beats him and dosen't seem to bother anyone less they get in his way (even the other 3 members of the Fantastic Four, they are among his enimies cause they are sided with Reed), but otherwise would just be focused on governing Latveria and leaving everbody else alone if they agree to leave him be. Norman on the other hand, always loves to beat the already dead horse and just wouldn't want to stop, because of how much joy he gets from the thrill of having so much power.

Let’s be real; if Joker and Goblin met they’d be “friends” but secretly work against one another and ultimately turn on one another. Not a fair fight; Joker would lose. BUT, I do believe Joker is completely sane which makes him more evil than Goblin since Goblin suffers from DID.

Wow. I've often depicted Green Goblin as a fun, goofy villain because I watched shows such as the 1990s Spider-man and also the Spectacular Spider-man, but after seeing this episode (very entertaining as always, by the way), His almost depicted as a Hannibal Lecter type character in the Marvel universe. I think that maybe I should pick up some good Green Goblin stories tomorrow.
