Mike the sound design is something you appreciate because of your expertise is so right on target. Mike the sound design of the original SW movie as an 18 year old in 1977 was one of the most impressive things that got my attention as well as the rest of the world.
Hemlock messing up bad by locking Omega in the vault. Her knowledge of the force from Ventress and Gungi plus 4 force sensitive children who have no knowledge of what they can do is going to be a lot of trouble.
Fantastic episode. The uniform Rampart is wearing reminded me of what Brasso was wearing in Andor, but then again, Luminara Undulli is wearing orange and white in Rebels S1:E5 "Rise of the Old Masters" as well as Barriss Offee in the Tales of the Empire trailer.
Just the fact that we don't hear about these guys later doesn't mean anything. It's a big galaxy, after all, as Mandalorian critics keep reminding us all. I choose to believe that just because we don't hear about them again doesn't mean that they die. Maybe, just MAYBE, they train Deke and the other 2 boys or train an elite Rebellion special forces squad, pass the torch and go into retirement. We KNOW, after all, that resistance to the Empire *does* finally die out and it's not until about 5 years before the Battle of Yavin that it starts to _really_ pick up. (If it took 20 years for the Rebellion to finally become thing, it's the worst rebellion in history.) So maybe the Batch decided to just move out to the Outer Rim, where the Empire doesn't really have much jurisdiction or sway over anything, and live quiet lives away from all the major uprising stories. DON'T COUNT THEM OUT. Ofc we don't hear about them "later"...that's why we can tell their story, even though it's in the past.
Ngl, I held my breath when Wrecker was jumping from that transport. At this point, I don't put anything past Star Wars. They mean to break our hearts, piece by piece.

Somehow, Rampart returned!
