The one thing you are forgetting is that Project Necromancer is the Emperor's project. Hemlock is working for the Emperor personally. If Tarkin tries to remove or so the project, he'll have the Emperor to answer to. That's why Hemlock is being vague or giving Tarkin the side eye. Because he knows he had the Emperor on his side. Only he can cancel the project

I think Ventress and Quinlan will help rescue the force sensitive kids in the Finale. That would be a great backdoor pilot for a Hidden Path show.

Knowing Quinlan that’s definitely a possibility I can see him and Asajj leading the assault in the complex with the batch and Rex’s clone resistance but I’d also like to see him face off against an Inquisitor or Darth Vader himself leading to Asajj’s death in the process

And has it been confirmed that their gonna do a hidden path show?

@@patriotamerican3426 I don't think it's been confirmed but it's been in the rumor mill for awhile. It kinda makes sense it would be the next animated show plus Asajj and Quinlan would be the perfect leads.

This entire scene gives me damn Stranger Things vibes, and Hemlock is the Star Wars version of “Papa”

This episode is probably by far the most messed up in the Bad Batch series. It’s an interesting episode but damn the subject matter is DARK.

Mike I love that you understand sound and how important it has always been for SW. George has always emphasized the importance of sound and sound effects when he made SW and one good thing about having Dave as his protégée he's continuing that tradition. Mike I had just finished HS in 1977 when SW came out, and the Dolby sound and sound effects made us jump out of our seats. The audience gave this movie a standing ovation as we watched the credits roll by at the end of the movie. If you can, watch the documentary about the making of SW so that you really can understand how revolutionary this movie was for 1977 America.

This episode was really damn dark (I loved it) im glad this show is making us really feel really what the rule under the empire feels like, we need to see more of it ... oh HEY THERE, TALES OF THE EMPIRE TRAILER lol cool reaction man Excited to see how this series concludes, and excited to see what we get in the future of the animation shows.

The depravity of the Empire continues to sicken and enrage me. I know that my family says that I would most likely be a Jedi If I was force-sensitive in Star Wars and that I would follow the light side; but man stuff like this makes me wanna be a Mandalorian or a bounty hunter, and just blast away monsters like this.
I’m a big Star Wars fan and I love the Legends/EU and I’ve been slowly been won over to liking canon too (not the sequels; that’s my personal opinion), So I know that the Empire is extremely depraved and evil, but it just sickens me every time.

Evil is evil regardless of the galaxy or universe and that was one of the main themes that George wanted to point out when he released SW back in 1977.

The more I think about it, the less I think it _is_ Tech - but perhaps not from the same angle as most. The Empire using clones they already have to experiment on and retrain/recondition for a different purpose seems more logical (and, as witnessed by the Tarkin interaction, more cost effective) than recovering a dead/dying clone and having to rebuild him physically as well as mentally. I'm not sure the Bad Batch would be considered important enough to mess with their heads by using a dead comrade - but the Empire is evil, so they might do something so petty. Will be fun to find out.

1st ep is quiet dark for a animated kid/teen/adult/((old fart),I'm an ol' fart😂) show.
Kidnapping, trafficking & child abuse are never easy watches no matter the genre😢. Tho, Emery is growing a conscience, it seems.
As for the Shadow Assassin, I was for just Tech. I swear I've seen bits of both Tech & Crosshair in this 'one physical' Assassin.

I love your reactions, but I gotta say though that I disagree with the notion that the operative HAS to be someone we know. Just like Marrok on the Ahsoka series turned out to be nothing but a bag of green gas, I think he's just another random clone. I hope it doesn't turn out to be Tech because it cheapens his sacrifice for the squad, and I just don't see it being Cody.

Yeah red herring is a distinct possibility. They def play up the Tech clues in ep. 11 and I hope its not him.
