I wanted to compare Storyblocks vs Envato Elements because it always seems like Storyblocks is the most popular from all the sponsored videos they do. But in practice, there are other options like Envato Elements out there that don't get repped enough! I just wanted you guys to know your options before you start spending a chunk of change on your stock footage. :)

Dude I was looking for differences between different audio/video subscriptions. The way you put it all together and explain it so simply, I absolutely loved it. and yes, I am going with Envato as well. Thanks for the info budd. I surely will be back for more videos of yours.
I watched this a while back and decided to go with envato. Then my friend told me she already bought story blocks and let me use it so I got a side by side comparison. With this side by side, I found out that the stock footage from story blocks is sooooo much better than envato imo. I struggle to find non-cringey stock footage from envato. Plus story blocks lets you select the file size of the video, which saves me so much space. Envato is nice for all the fonts and stuff, but overall storyblocks is the winner for me.

Is it true that storyblocks only offers a bunch of their content on their annual subscription and not everything they show on the website???
I have heard that their is a catch to their subscriptions n they are not upfront about it. How much of that is ture in yr experience??
@@inspiring5234 No I havent really felt that there's a catch. If you're looking for good stock footage, story blocks definitely does not let you down. I dont know about all the other assets, but for footage alone, ive never felt that theres not enough and I've never had to pay extra.

I've had envato for a year and haven't used it a whole lot but you're review has made me appreciate it more
This was really useful. I have been an Envato user for 2 years now and I neve had any complaint. My subscription ended a few days ago and I was tempted to try the Storyblock subscription, but after this video I will stick with Envato for another year. I've neve had any issue with downloadings and for example the After Effects templates usually come with a tutorial wich is really helpful.

Hello. 1 year passed since you commented. Did you once again take envato subscription? Also, in these 3years(not considering this one) you invested a total of $600. Did you churn out returns more than the investment? If yes, how?
I am a freelance video editor and till now, I was only using pexels and pixabay for stock videos, and RUclips for free templates. But, now, I want to scale my business, so I am thinking to buy envato elements. But I will only invest if I can make more than the investment in the year

I am a little reticent with regard to the licensing stuff for each item that you download, but I guess just making sure to dot the I's and cross the T's should be all ok for client work. Great video. You brought up a lot of good points. The one thing that leans me towards story blocks is in every category of assets storyblocks has a library 4-5x larger than envato and motionarry.
envato have more assets !

Hello, I was considering to subscribe for one of these services so I can "level up" my videos. Still I can't afford to pay for an annual subscription and my main question is: Is it allowed to download their assets from their site and use them after my subscription for the month expires ? Let's say I download 2000 templates, videos etc. Do they make something like "limited downloading or limit as size - "don't reach let's say 200 GB"? I am aware that I will not posses the most modern assets but still it will be a pretty solid deal if I can download whatever I like for 1 month of subscription. And thanks for the video. I am leaning toward the Envato Elements too, for the obvious reason... but I was wondering do they have templates(like titles, lower thirds and graphical elements) for Davinci Resolve ? Thanks again.
