We all lived in Jimi's world for 4 years: 1966 - 1967. He didn't live in ours--it was his world once he became famous. Doesn't happen often; he changed music forever❣️

He sure did. I always remind people that we cannot neglect the influence of Native Americans in Rock and Roll Music. Thanks for watching. We love Jimi.

I wish I could say that. King Edward was the only one of us old enough to go see him. Thanks for watching. ☮🎵

@thetruerockandrollpodcast6544 ...I asked him, "what was it like when you saw him??"...he said, 'I could not believe what I was seeing...he was something I'd never seen before"!

I'd seen that documentary , that was the first time I heard the version of Machine Gun with Mitch Mitchell on drums.

      I was a good doc. I love Faye's honesty, Mick's innocence and Eric's acknowledgement of Jimi's greatness. ☮🎵

The opening interview with the lovely Faye Pridgeon, Jimi Hendrix's friend in NYC, is from 1973's "A Film About Jimi Hendrix", a good documentary!

Many vocalists chew gum while on stage to keep their mouths from going dry. 👍

Would love for you to check out some of his softer tracks , Have you ever been , Drifting , Angel , 1983 merman.

They are so hard to find in live performance. Mermaid is my personal favorite of the softer more ethereal music they created. I will see what I can find. Thanks for watching. ☮🎵

@@thetruerockandrollpodcast6544 Just look up and listen to 'Little Wing' live at the Royal Albert Hall in 1969. BTW, he chewed gum to keep his eardrums open (too much pressure because of the maximum volume he played on stage)
