Thanks! It is very practical… going strong and is a true tank for the tag. It’s also very inconspicuous.
The Magnetic Case is interesting! I inserted mine into the Back of a Headrest with a little bit of cutting and sewing, so it's protected from coming loose by any harsh bumps, such as trying to turn a corner too fast, and crashing into something. Teenage kids like to steal cars, to see how fast it can go.
That’s a very good and ingenuous setup! That will be 1 of the last places they will decide to look. Just a little worried about signal interference though. How do you find the signal? Are you able to constantly tack just fine? As for the magnetic case, it’s still working perfectly fine rain or shine 😁.

@@TheSly40 That’s not how it works. It works out the car’s position, anywhere in the world, provided there are people with iPhones in the vicinity.
@TheSly40 It’s exactly as what was explained above 👆🏾. However I will add a small tweak: the Apple Air tag works by sending out a secure Bluetooth signal that basically “pings” any Apple device connected to the “Find My” network and relays the location back to you. It’s not limited to iPhones only, it could be Apple Watches, Macs, or ipads as well.
