  • In this video, we're going to learn how to transfer or copy, in a faster and easy way, any file like photos and videos, from iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) to an external hard drive like a hard drive or an SSD (solid state drive) drive using a Lightning to USB adapter.
Alert: My english pronunciation is pretty basic so you will need to be patient.

Hi. There is an iOS app called GoProQuick with which you can preview and transfer photos and videos from the GoPro to the iPhone.

Great explanation, but I have tried this and when my hard drive pops up in my files it says 'read only' and I can't copy and paste any photos or videos. Do you know how I can fix this?

I think it has something to do how the drive was formatted. I believe apfs would be the better option.

Try formating the SSD using exFAT.

@@iMarliton apfs if more safe, and for mac stuff only. exfat is to transfer files from mac stuff to windows.

Hi. Maybe is because the format. I use APFS format. If you use Windows, you can use exFat.

Do you think that this USB power adapter can work
for a SSD to see it in the iPhone 13?

Hi. No every SSD works in the iPhone. The only way to know is trying. Or wait for the iPhone 15 :-)
