Daniel Eyre Well, to be fair, as an American viewer (and a huge transport nerd myself), "muggy" in Britain is *nothing* compared to "muggy" in the American southeast. Trust me, here it's been 30 C (in actuality) with the humidity making it "feel" like 38 C.
This was a great way to spend an afternoon! I'm one of the Bakerloo Line people. And I had a lovely chat with Geoff's mum, on the Victoria line next to me!
This was a really fun afternoon, I'm one of the Central guys. I hope next time Geoff has a wild idea he lets us all know and keeps the emails from this one. Came down from Yorkshire specially for it, was certainly worth it, Cheers Geoff, and here's to the next idea, you can count me in again.
Oh, Geoff - I can't believe it - those drone shots made me cry. I know it's a silly thing to do. For some reason it's also an amazing thing to do. Thank you!
With out any doubt in the history of the universe this is the most special and brilliant thing to have done and filmed. I love you all big time for doing it and I wish I could have been there.
Thanks for letting me be in this video. Im epileptic and I try to cool down cause heat is one of my triggers thats why I wore a white baseball cap (to keep me cool). The bloke who was next to me in a Grimsby fc top and I was having a great laugh on that day. when we leaned over I said to him,"leap frog" (we was in the central line)
oh i didn't forget to go "hooray" under my breath on the morning of march 9th this year... it was on my first train of the day as i set out to complete my "dunderground challenge"
I spent quite a while trying to spot myself in the shot at 3:06 until I worked out it had been mirrored! It was a great day, big thanks to all involved. Would have been cool if Tom Scott had turned up to form the Central Line! So LU roundel next?
Brilliant! Curious as to how this came to be.... "Excuse me. Have you ever thought of being in a Tube map?" doesn't seem like a successful ice breaker...
They were going to do the Elizabeth line but all the people were late and demanded to be paid a ridiculous amount.
brilliant!
Adam how do you know
@@holdingpointaviation r/whoooooosh
@Adam, there's a gentleman, who knows his tube.
Jay Swarrow I went on cross-eliz-purple-rail in august

they intersect at oxford circus...
Really gutted that we got stuck in all that traffic and never made it :-(
We were only an hour away when we had to admit defeat and turn around.
You've got to appreciate the irony here...
Jayfive276 Just noticed it lol
@@Jayfive276 Oh yes!

Next time I need a tube map, i can just use this
You would probably get lost 🤷♂️
This is definitely a waste of four minutes but I’m so glad I wasted those four minutes. This is such a good bit of fun!
Looks like a great turn out and the weather behaved.
An amazing thing. It's just come out brilliantly. Well done everyone!

Ah, the fun things people used to do together in "the before times".
I spent quite a while trying to spot myself in the shot at 3:06 until I worked out it had been mirrored!
It was a great day, big thanks to all involved.

Very good! Now come up to Manchester and get a load of people dressed in yellow for a Human Metrolink Map!
Wow Geoff, you never cease to amaze, all we need now is a large board to stick all those map points on. Did you tell them what was going to happen?
Nice one! you should do one for the Victoria tunnel

This was so much fun to do!
Brilliant video
Great idea! 👍🏾😎
You're amazing!
Brilliant
Perhaps not as tasty or calorific as the time they made a tube map from chocolate.
The number of times I yelled at the screen "THAT'S ME!!"
so British, nerdy thing i have ever seen
Awesome!
Harry Beck would be proud
Excellent
Cool, people with colour shirts
I watch this channel all the time but I haven't even been anywhere near Europe let alone the UK or even London.

First chocolate, then people, whats next actual trains???

TUBEMAPPER LUKE!!!!!!!!!!
I reckon this needs to be done on a massive scale to get a world record? Count me in to be part of it - and I don't even live in London!
