I bought this on Amazon for about $350 NZD I got free shipping which saved $60. I will see how long it lasts so far it looks good and is faster than the Powermatic 3
I just got the Powermatic 3+ w/ Gambler tobacco here in the States & the tobacco is already finely cut & the machine won't stuff a 100 tube. If i chop it finer like dust, it'll jam but if i hit Start again, it'll stuff a 100. Returning mine for this HK-3 Also, mine was bought new from Amazon but came with scratches all over the display & the sides.
There is a guy on RUclips I think in Germany who has pulled a Hawk Matic apart and it is built better than the Powermatic 3. The hawk Matic is faster and so far no jams so we will wait and see if it lasts. I don't do 100s so I don't know how it will go but others on RUclips have.
