    Excellent! Fun stuff, man!
    As we head into winter, time to, rather than a review of the classic pea coat but rather how to fit them!
    I recently grabbed a full “military specification” pea coat and followed EVERYTHING required for sizing… it looks amazing. Looks and feels perfect with my hands at my sides. Sleeve length is perfect. Shoulder seams are exactly where they ought be.
    BUT as soon as I cross my arms, the biceps area of the coat feels tight, and also across my back.
    Same also if I sit in a chair and put my elbows on my knees, suddenly the ‘proper’ fit immediately becomes constrictive.
    Surely something is a bit off here.
    I think it’s well worth looking into for all gentlemen investing in such a classic coat that can potentially last them nigh a lifetime.
    Cheers!

      #machfront, thanks for watching! I can do more peacoat fit videos, as it took me a very long time to find the one peacoat that I like (Scott 740N). Even then, I had to get the "tall" size so the sleeves were long enough, and the jacket was long enough. It sounds like you could benefit from going 1 size up, or you just have the wrong fit unfortunately. If you have muscle in your shoulders and a slim waist, a larger size in a "slim" fit will give you more room in the arms while not being billowy around the waist.

      @@tommilano5431Agreed. One very interesting thing I noticed very recently, insofar as the proper overall length….is that it’s nearly always such, that with your hands down at your sides, you can ‘grab’ the bottom edge of the pea coat with your thumb and fingers. Heheh.
      Odd, that. But it did seem to be a consistent thing with the few I had and tested.
      Looking at your vids, I’d wager you ought easily do the same (without trying nor manipulating anything), with the Schott, to, again, very simply grab the bottom edge with your relaxed, at side, hands.
      Interesting. But a fairly decent approximation of good length.
      Cheers, again! 🙂

    hey bro. which camera and lens you use?

    • @tommilano5431
      @tommilano5431  Месяц назад +1

      Sony ZVE1, 16-35 PZG F4 Lens, Sony ECM B1M Hotshot microphone. All handheld with "active stabilization" on, used a wrist strap incase I dropped the camera, and also had a quick release shoulder strap so I didn't have to hold the camera the entire time.

      @@tommilano5431 thank you so much. it's not too heavy?

      You’re welcome. It is heavy for vlogging, but not an issue when filming what’s in front of you. I used it since I started the vlog when it was dark out. If it was daylight, I would have used the DJI pocket 3 for filming myself, and the zve1 for filming the environment with the zoom lens. My shoulder starts to burn after about 1 minute with the full frame Sony (and I lift weights) so I only talk to the camera in short bursts, which works for me.
